Cloth eyelets make for high resistance when tying and untying the laces, but they stay where you place them, and the shoes don't loosen with activity. Width is critical as the material does not stretch. Consider using a shoehorn to avoid wearing thru the back of the shoe.

I was informed they are comfortable however they are already ripped on the side near the big toe. I call it a pivot toe rip it became unglued.
