I have abnormally high arches and therefore horrendous plantar fasciitis pain. In the cooler months, I wear prescription orthotics in my shoes and boots. In the summer... what? Those things don't work with sandals. For a long time, I wore the cheapest sandals I could find, because it just didn't matter. I was going to hurt no matter what. A few years ago, I got a pair of Vionics. They're great, but they aren't exactly right -- no support for the lateral side of the foot, but also too stiff to move with your foot as you walk. Wearing them changed my gait in a weird way and put strain on the lateral side of my ankles. My mom got a pair of these Skechers, and I borrowed them to go out and get the mail. That was a life-changing decision. I immediately ordered a pair (I usually wear a 9, but my mom's 8.5 fit me fine lengthwise, and I got a 8.5W to account for the high arch). I've worn them every day since they arrived. I can't say my feet never hurt, but wearing these sandals has decreased the pain by an order of magnitude. Size: 9 Color: Chocolate
The Brown Skechers Reggae run small and have a bit of an uncomfortable ridge between toes and ball of foot, so if you're super sensitive it might be troublesome. Otherwise they're very nice. I bought the black pair first and they are super comfortable and sized for the average human. The brown and blue pairs...not so much. So you might order the black in your regular size, but brown and blue slightly larger. I am glad I brought the black ones. ... show more

I'm not a fan of flippy-floppy shoes, but I live in sandals in the summer, so I'm always looking for cute sandals with a strap over the arch. These sandals are incredibly comfortable with terrific arch support (especially for a sandal!). The straps are adjustable allowing for a variety of foot shapes. Materials are good quality. I can't yet speak to the longevity of these as I've only had them a few weeks. But they've already become my go-to shoes. Highly recommended. ... show more

I have had a pair of these dangles for 3 years and they finally gave out on me after many many miles walked in them. I was so happy to see I could find another pair. I love the brown. Hope they last as long as the first pair!

These sandals have great support, I wear them regularly and they're very comfortable for the most part. Usually I don't like things around my toes but I don't really notice it much once I'm walking around. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that actually feel like they're giving good arch support but these did not disappoint. ... show more

    • Corrective qualities, WOW, game changer
I have high arches and walk on the outside (sides) of my feet (underpronation) I have searched, bought and returned so many pairs of shoes. Now that I am inching my way to that "60" age, comfort after years of abuse to my feet (soccer, softball, nursing etc) I want shoes that support corrective alignment. These are so comfortable and the arch & side support keep me from rolling my foot outward. I am going to wear them a few hours at a time, just to be sure I don"t over strain muscles that have adapted to my incorrect way of walking and landing on my feet. No flip-flopping, they are securely gripped to feet without restraint feeling. As always when I find something that fits well its discontinued, not this time I am ordering several pairs and putting them away for when this pair is ready to retire I am not back in the same boat. I seem to have good luck with Sketchers when some names like Clarks and a few others are too restraining and heavy on my feet ... show more

These are so comfortable that I got a pair in another color. They are like upgraded flip-flops but look nice enough to wear everywhere except maybe work. Flip-flops hurt the spot between my toes where the thong is but these stay on more with the loop portion around your big toe and adjustable strap across the foot.     • Perfect for Planned Trip with Lots of Walking

We are getting read for a 3 week trip involving a lot of walking and I had been looking for a comfortable pair of sandals that would stay on my feet yet be cushiony. I tried on and sent back 4-5 pairs before trying these. Perfect. I did sew a little tuck on the strap that goes over the top of your foot which fastens with velcor. One of my feet is pronated (flat) and the other one now has an arch after surgery. Shoes fit dfferently on each foot. The little tuck is all that was needed to make it a perfect fit and it was very easy to do with a needle and thread and took two minutes. ... show more
