I love these sandals! Let me start by saying I have plantar fasciitis. As a result of this condition I wear custom made orthotics in my shoes, so summertime is a challenge. Any sandal without proper arch support leaves me in excruciating pain after only wearing them a short time. Many years ago I purchased this same sandal (in brown) and they are basically my permanent summer footwear - freeing my feet from their summertime claustrophobia of sneakers. This year I was devastated that I had to "put them to rest". They had done their time and there was no way I could get another season out of them. I searched high and low in local shoe stores and found nothing that compared. I knew it was going to be a dreadful summer. It finally dawned on me to check amazon and was delighted to find the exact sandal! - and that they came in multiple colors/designs!!! Aside from how sporty and cute these are, let's talk practicality: The sole of this shoe is firm and supportive yet provides sufficient cushion for comfortable all-day wear. They have an adjustable strap with a velcro closure so you can really get your foot stabilized in them, keeping the arch of the foot aligned with the built-in support. The ability to achieve this snug fit also eliminates blisters often caused when your foot shifts, making them suitable for long walks and even mild hiking. I don't have a wide foot but I would imagine this sandal would accommodate a fairly wide foot. I have to say that in general I hate thong sandals, but I really cannot feel the material that goes between the toes on these sandals. They are durable (my previous pair lasted several years), they clean easily and even with the suede accents it never posed a problem when they got wet. Highly recommended! ... show more

Soooooo comfortable...got tired of the cute sandals that leave my feet aching because of no arch support...my only problem with most sketcher sandals is the rugged look...couldn't find a gold, fun look pair. So I altered these with some gold soft leather cord and took some colorful rope leather bracelets and sewed them on. ... show more

    • I do hate playing the guessing game on going up or down ...
I wear an 81/2 - I ordered the 8 since they do not come in half sizes. Plus the website asked me a few questions and suggested I get the 8's. They are long enough but the left foot is a little snug but I could tell they loosened up as I wore them for several days. I now have a very small blister on the left foot where the ring around the toe is. It's not a really big deal but why not make the sandals in half sizes. I do hate playing the guessing game on going up or down in sizes. I'll bet there are a lot of people out there that wear half sizes. But I will say really cute shoe and it's comfortable now that I've broke them in. Yay. ... show more

Nice shoes, I have the same pair in army green but I cut the ends of the tabs and pretty much ruined these sandals. SO? I ordered another pair, I got a 7 in these but feel they are not long enough. I think my original pair is a 7 but since I've had them for 3 years, the tags worn off but I compared them and I think the the original was longer. No matter what, despite these sandals being very durable (as I said, I had a previous - exact same pair for 3 years and they would have lasted for even longer if I had not cut the sides) these shoes run wide. My foot is pretty narrow and I always have to pull the lower tabs over and the velcro does not stick that well. Nevertheless? I really love the feel of these shoes. I feel they are as close as you can get to sneakers but they are not confining. I like this pair better than my (drab) army green but they ran longer. They are so well made and so resilient. I feel I could walk for hours in these and they are actually more comfortable than sneakers! The only reason I gave them a 4 star and not a 5 star is they run wide and when you adjust the tabs the velcro does not stick as well as it should. Overall? These sandals are super comfortable, durable and cute to boot! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely LOVE these Skechers. I am one of those people who cannot wear anything between my toes, but these are the exception. Incredibly comfortable, you cannot even tell there is anything between your toes at all. Arch support is phenomenal and I can wear these all day long comfortably without aching. Last summer I wore sandals just like these to New York City and wore them non-stop for 7 days of sight seeing. I bought another pair to wear to Europe this summer. It is the only sandal I know I can wear without doing damage to my feet or back after days of non-stop walking. Fantastic shoes that I would highly recommend (bought at full price on Amazon for my personal use). ... show more

    • Knock off, or Manufactured Flawed Shoes....2 pairs purchased both bad
Fits like a knock off.....Slightly smaller than the store Skechers (could simply be due to the altered foot bed), but the real problem is one shoe is soft and one shoe is hard, it feels like wearing two completely different shoes. I have tried on several of this style of shoe in stores and was excited to discover a different more attractive color pattern here, but these do NOT fit like all the other Skechers in this style I have tried on in stores. I like using Amazon reviews, but don't know how it is possible nobody else had this problem. I bought a second pair that was not as bad but still were not consistent from one shoe to the next, and still did not fit like the store bought Skechers. ... show more

    • Wish I'd discovered these a long time ago!
I broke my ankle back in early Fall, all due to a pair of cheap flip-flops. After major surgery, a 5" titanium plate and a bunch of screws in my foot, I swore off flip-flops forever...until warm weather hit and I put on some old cross-toe sandals (similar to these). I realized if I'd had those on, I would not have had a wet flip-flop wrap around my ankle, break two bones and destroy almost every tendon and ligament in my ankle. I saw these and fell in love with them, ordered them and...oh, am I a happy girl!! Sturdy, comfortable (love the arch support!), stylish; I've already received a ton of compliments. I like these sandals so much I ordered another pair in brown, which are due for delivery tomorrow. I can hardly wait! These are what I'll be wearing for a lot of summers - and summers in Texas lasts from May until about October. Love these sandals! ... show more
