I'm wearing these shoes almost every day this summer (received these at the end of June). They are comfortable, roomy and they look just distressed enough to be casual everyday shoes (vs. a dressier loafer or boat shoe). I'm a 50+ man, reasonably fashionable and active. I bought the taupe colored ones. Ordered the Try Before You Buy. It’s good I did. Figured an 8.5 would fit. I always wear a 9. They were still too big. The 8 fit just fine. I suggest ordering 1 size smaller.

This is my second pair of these sketchers and i love wearing them everywhere. It's hot here in SC and I weat them with pants and shorts and they breath my foot doesn't get overheated . Comfort plus.

I'm mostly happy with these shoes. I ordered the same size as the deck shoes I was replacing, but these are a little tighter in the toe length than I would have preferred. I maybe should have ordered a half-size larger, but then I worried that they would be too long and loose in the heel area making them floppy. So I stayed with these, As I've worn them over the last two-three weeks, they've gotten more comfortable. Maybe they're stretching a bit; I don't really know. Botton line - I like them and they're comfortable for relaxing around the house. If I bought them again, I might order the next larger size just to confirm whether of not that would be a better fit. Ive been searching for a good pair of shoes, not so much into athletic sneakers anymore and these Sketchers slip on shoes are easy to put on and off and pretty comfortable. I wouldn't say walking on clouds comfortable but a realistic comfortable. Only thing is I think they run a tad big in the heel area so maybe order a half size down. I'm normally a 9.5 and I had to add heel pads so they wouldn't slip. ... show more
