Have always worn lace up shoes, often have to use a shoe horn to get shoes/boots on or off. Until now. After a back injury, I purchased some true slip-on shoes by Sketcher and really love them. This is my second pair, they look more like traditional walking/running shoes, but they slip right on and never need to be retied. NO... they do not slip at the heal. There is a special heal design which allows them to slip on easily but doesn't allow them to slip as you walk. They look good, wear well, are comfortable and easily slip on. The two pair I own are true to size. I really like them. Will update when more wear data is available. Recommended.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn right from the start. I bought them because they are slip ons and look better than any other slip ons out there but they also look better than other shoes and the price was unbelievable. I won’t ever buy another brand.

I had my doubts about a "slip on" shoe like this, but have completely been sold by these. They stay open so that I can just stick my toes in and slide my foot right in. They are super quick to put on and take off without bending over at all and they are super comfortable as well. Probably the best shoes I have ever purchased for the money and will certainly be back for a replacement someday when these wear out!
