i live in a really cold icy region and these are amazing for walking on slippery surfaces and winter parking lot sludge. seem like they'll hold up well, comfortable, really easy to get on, easier than any sneakers i've had (which is really nice for boots). can't tell if they're waterproof but they're doing fine in a bunch of snow feel a little big on me though even though i'm wearing my usual exact size and it's a specific half size, maybe i got them too wide or something, no idea what the issue is. they just slide off in the back some when i walk, even with thick socks. anyway, these look great and feel so comfy. just thinking if these ever wear out and i decide to get them again, i'd go down by a half size. also wish they didnt HAVE to have "slip ons" engraved in the back ... show more

The boots look great but were a little stiff in the beginning compared to the sneakers but after a week or so they’re very comfortable. • Pluses: Comfortable; generous toe box; real leather uppers; good looking; easy to slip-on. • Minuses: the laces don’t tighten (the bottom four eyelets are fixed in place, and the separate top eyelets lace is very elastic and virtually fixed)—I removed both laces and replaced with one I could tighten. The eyelets could be wider.). The front rubber bumper, for stylish appearances, doesn’t rise high enough to protect my big toe from stubbing. Otherwise I like these boots which I use for yard work. I was searching for a good looking ankle high boot for work, hiking, casual wear, and found these. I'm a fan of the slip-ins, and they looked great, but I didn't have high hopes in a slip-in boot. When I tried them on, they were a bit loose. So I replaced the non-adjustable laces with aftermarket elastic (adjustable) laces - again skeptical about how the "slip-in" feature would work with tighter laces. It was a homerun! These boots are still easy to slip into, snug fitting enough for hiking or work, and comfortable to wear all day. And water resistant to BOOT! ... show more
