I owned a pair of these for a long time and loved them. They finally work out. Good leather, good fit, comfortable insole, nice grip on bottom (even if you aren't a boater, those occasional wet floors, you know). Anyway I was ecstatic to find them here, but a bit concerned that like many products it would have been cheapened over time. Nope. Just like the "original" ones! I plan to wear these for a long time. Wonderful casual shoe.

Right from the moment I put them on, I felt an immediate sense of comfort, thanks to the Relaxed Fit design. They have quickly become my go-to choice for both casual outings and workdays. The Ideal Blend of Aesthetics and Functionality What sets the Harper - Forde Loafer apart is the meticulous attention to detail in the design. The loafers exude an air of sophistication while maintaining a casual vibe. They are crafted from smooth, full-grained leather that not only looks good but also feels incredibly soft against the skin. The stitching accents add an extra layer of visual appeal to the overall look. Cushioned Comfort: The Strength and Weakness One of the standout features has to be the memory foam cushioned insole. The insole provides a level of comfort that makes wearing these loafers for extended periods an absolute breeze. However, this cushioning, while excellent for comfort, might not provide the best support for those who have to stand for long hours or walk significant distances. I felt some foot fatigue after a full day, something I have not experienced with more orthopedically-designed footwear. Approaching 75 with arthritis it has become harder to put on and tie shoes so Sketchers has comes to my rescue with a variety of slip-ons that are not only comfortable but very practical. I give them an A+ for not only creating such shoes but also having types that can be for any occasion. An excellent value in all respects.

These shoes are a great fit for people that have slightly wide feet because of the relaxed fit and rounded toe box. They look amazing and I get compliments on them. If your looking for a shoe to go to formal events, church or as an every day shoe they are very comfortable and fit super easy. You don’t have to jam your foot in there. The slip on part and rounded toe box plus relaxed fit are great. I can’t stand shoes that you can’t breathe in and that make you feel like you need to take them off just to get some air after an hour or two. I bought the regular 12. I’ll tell you, some other companies make size 12’s that I can’t even fit in or have to really try hard too. Not with these. Get the tan colored ones, there stylish.

I initially liked these shoes... six months later, I'm disappointed and over them. I got these to replace my aging Mephisto slip-ons. These shoes are really comfortable, great looking, and can easily go from casual to business casual. Being a fan of slip-ons and boat shoes, I'm not used to wearing socks. My feet don't really sweat, so I prefer a couple of sets of removable insoles that I can keep clean. These Skechers have a comfortable, but permanent, insole. Of course, few things in life are really permanent: they could be removed, but they aren't designed to be. The worst aspect of these shoes, though, is how thin & fragile the upper coating is. They didn't last six months! I had to briefly get down on the concrete to check a tire... and these uppers were chewed up (see photo). It doesn't help to break out shoe polish when nothing's left for me to shine! If all you plan on ever doing is enjoy work, dining, beverages and the occasional walk - these should last you awhile. When "real life" happens, though, and it will (refer to Murphy's Law), just don't expect these shoes to get through it.
