I work at least 40 hours a week entirely on my feet in a restaurant and I've had these about 2 weeks now and I'm impressed. Fit is perfect and they're very comfortable even for double shifts on my feet all day. I prefer this kind of support which is more flat versus running shoe type support. This feels more natural to me and I'm better balanced. Definitely waterproof and not bad looking. The real test will come after nightly exposure to the harsh floor cleaning chemicals we use that always ate up my previous work shoes and separated the soles from the tops. I will try to update this review in a couple of months after I see how they hold up. But so far, so good. Definitely a great value for high quality work shoes.

My line of work requires a durable shoe that also has a dressier look. These are bar none the best you will find. In the last 10 years it's the only brand shoe I've purchased. There are a few different styles. Seriously, they hit on all marks. Slip resistant, electrical shock protection, well made, uber comfortable, great price, etc. No I don't work for Sketchers, just really have to say that if your foot wear needs are similar to mine, I think you'd be hard pressed to find better. PS Bought the Sketchers work boots and have put them through the ringer to say the least. Those have held up so well. Buddies' boots that were 3xs the price haven't made it half as long. The whole "work" line / assortment they offer are really good. Highly recommend. - Steve

This might seem like a crazy application of "Food Service Industry" shoes but I often mountain bike in conditions where I end up having to completely submerge one foot or both in deep puddles if I lose my balance and have to stop before getting through a water obstacle. Traditional sneakers are horrible once they've been submerged as so much of the material holds water like a sponge and then they are terrible to dry out after a ride. I have found with these shoes there is very little material that can hold water and if I just wring my sock out I can continue a ride much more comfortably than with a still soaked sneaker. They also dry very easily with just a fan blowing into them after the ride and are ready to use again the next day.
