Lightweight with quality materials and construction. The soles have rubber at the contact areas and should be very durable. The soles also are full rockers design and could be controversial. I have had these are few weeks. I have found you need to adjust your gait. These are my daily wear and walking shoes. So far they are good for my knees and the cushion works good for my 150 pounds. I got these shoes after using the Skechers Max Cushioning Endeavour, whose insoles kept breaking down on me. The Skechers Max Cushioning Run Pacewave are a serious upgrade in both cushioning and style. They fit true to size, are breathable, made from quality materials, and very comfortable. Durability will take time to assess, and I'll update if necessary. So far, they're the ultimate alternative to the more expensive HOKA shoes. These are the best cushioned running shoes from Skechers for now. *Update* The midsole collapsed after a few days just below the big toe. Guess that goga mat can't handle high arch feet. Best to stick to shoes with memory foam insoles. ... show more
