I bought these as had heel surgery and had some serious swelling in my foot and pain in my heel. These were absolutely perfect every which way. I actually loved the laces. I could tie the non swollen foot tighter and keep my injured foot looser. The slip on feature helped a ton with getting the surgery foot shoe on.
