  • Great Shoe, better colors!!
Size: 10.5 Color: Tan
I had to write this review because I am just so impressed with these shoes. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon, and I'm pretty used to the whole cycle of ordering, getting the box, and seeing if the thing is any good. Most of the time, products are just... fine. They meet the description, they do the job, and life goes on. It's really rare and pretty great when something totally blows away your expectations, and that's exactly what happened here. These shoes are not just "fine"; they are fantastic, and I felt like I had to sit down and write about it for anyone else who might be thinking about buying them. First, the color. The listing just says "Tan." Now, "tan" can mean a million different things, right? It could be a flat, boring beige. It could be a weird yellowish-brown. Just a dull color that's... there. The product photos, if I'm being honest, made them look adequate, but not exciting. They looked like a functional, standard pair of tan shoes. I ordered them because I needed something in that color range, and the reviews seemed decent enough. Let me be super clear: the pictures do not do these shoes justice. Not even close. You honestly have to trust me on this: they look so much better in person. The moment I opened the box, I was struck by how rich the color was. This isn't just "tan." It's a deep, rich tan with different tones in it, and it catches the light in a really nice way. In direct sunlight, it has a warm, almost caramel glow. In indoor lighting, it settles into a sophisticated, earthy tone. The material, which looked flat in the photos, actually has this great texture and a slight sheen that makes them look way more expensive than they were. The stitching, the cut of the materials, the way the different panels are assembled... it all just pops in a way that static online images simply cannot capture. If you are hesitating because you think they look "okay" in the pictures, please take my word for it. Seeing them in person, they're like ten times better. No joke. I've already had two people ask me where I got them, and they've both been surprised when I told them they were from Amazon. Now, on to the most critical aspect of any shoe: comfort. Looks are one thing, but if a shoe feels like a torture device, who cares? It's worthless. I have, in my life, owned many beautiful shoes that now collect dust in the back of my closet because I simply cannot bear the thought of the blisters, the pinching, or the aching arches. I was totally expecting to have to "break in" these shoes. You know the drill: wear them for an hour, get a blister, wait two days, and try again. My experience could not have been more different. Right out of the box, they felt incredible. The unboxing itself was standard, but the moment I slipped my foot into the first shoe, I audibly said "Oh... wow." It wasn't tight. It wasn't loose. It was just a perfect, snug fit that still felt gentle. Like a hug for my foot. The interior lining is soft and seamless, with no annoying stitches or rough edges rubbing against my ankle or toes. But the insole... the insole is where the magic is. It's not an aggressive, hard, orthopedic arch, nor is it a flimsy, flat piece of foam that collapses under pressure. It's this perfect balance of soft cushioning and real support. It feels like some kind of high quality memory foam that shapes to your foot right away. It supports my arch and feels like a cloud for my heel and the ball of my foot. I decided to give them a real test. I didn't just wear them around the house for ten minutes. I put them on in the morning, around 9 AM, for a day I knew would involve a lot of running errands. I went to the grocery store, I walked through a large department store, I stood in line at the post office, and I even took a brief walk in the park. I was on my feet for the better part of six hours, with a lot of walking on hard surfaces like concrete and tile. By the end of the day, when I finally sat down, I had that moment of realization. My feet didn't hurt. They weren't aching. They weren't throbbing. There was no pinching at the widest part of my foot. My heels weren't tender. My toes weren't cramped. There were no red spots, no hot spots where you know a blister is about to form. It honestly felt like I was wearing my favorite pair of old sneakers, the ones that are already perfectly broken in. The sole has just the right amount of flexibility, so your foot moves naturally, but it's also sturdy enough that you don't feel every single pebble you step on. The breathability is also surprisingly good; my feet felt dry and comfortable all day. For a shoe to deliver this level of comfort on the very first wear is, in my experience, exceptionally rare. I'm just so, so happy with this purchase. It's the best feeling when you take a chance on something and it turns out to be even better than you hoped. These shoes are the complete package: they look phenomenal (way better than the photos, trust me!), the color is rich and versatile, and they are, without a doubt, one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've owned straight out of the box. As I said at the beginning, I've had them for a bit now with no issues, and they've quickly become my go-to pair. However, I am a firm believer in thorough reviews. So, this is my glowing, five star first impression. The true test of a shoe is durability and long term comfort. So, I will definitely update this review if anything happens or my opinion changes. I'll be paying attention to how the sole wears down, if the stitching holds up, how the material handles scuffs or spills, and if that amazing comfort is still there after a few months of consistent use. But for now? It's an easy, enthusiastic five star recommendation from me. If you're thinking about it, just do it. I truly don't think you'll be disappointed. ... show more

  • The insoles are removable!
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Black/Black
I wear these shoes to work and other places. They are comfortable and very simple to put on, you just step into them. The sizing seems to be right on. I got the wide because I sometimes have Metatarsalgia, which for me feels like there is a pebble or something in my shoe. It's common. I don't have any pain with this shoe. One more thing, I just noticed today that the insoles are removable. You can take them out and clean out the shoe really well, then put them back in. I thought Sketchers insoles were not removable, but these are! They are good quality insoles. Update... These shoes are 11.5 Wide. I may get another pair, but I will not get wide next time. My foot moves from side to side a little too much. My feet have started to lean inward toward each other when I walk. I think my feet need regular width shoes. I have a pair of 11.5 regular and 11.5 wide. The difference in width is about 1/8 of an inch, when I put the shoes together at the sole. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Great fit - Solid Shoe
Size: 10.5 Color: Grey
1st go at the Skechers "Slip-In" Sneakers. Web search put them & Kizik as the top slip-in sneakers. Independent reviews put both brands pretty even. Personally of the (2) the SKECHERS is a better overall shoe for the price. Wicked comfortable, and surprisingly STURDY compared to the Kizik. The Kizik are comfortable, but when walking with some force (uphill/uneven terrain) the Kizik have no lateral support - almost like a slipper. The Skechers - rock solid. Also the Skechers have a little bit of "tread" underneath - so somewhat slip resistant. Im not going to go walking in the rain to find out, but comfortable wont slip if encounter a puddle or wet sidewalk. For the price a no-brainer - Skechers for the win! ***** CAUTION ***** >>> MEASURE FOOT AND CHECK SIZE CHART. THIS SHOE RUINS 1/2 SIZE LARGE. HAD TO EXCHANGE. ALL GOOD NOW!! ... show more

  • I like them
Size: 9 Color: Black/Black
A little pricey, even at their lowest in 30 days, supposedly. I like them though. The sole material is such that it will slip on smooth floors until broken in. The sole doesn’t seem dense enough to be durable, but I’m not a chemist. They are comfortable, seem well made, and slip on nicely. I can see there might be issues if they don’t fit right, so if you do encounter problems I suggest measuring again and getting the correct size. The wrong size will negatively impact durability and comfort. Mine are comfortable and I’m currently using them in place of house slippers. Yes, they are that easy to get on and off. Can’t attest to walkability as I don’t walk well enough to give them a good test, but they don’t hurt me or have issues for the short distances I teeter about. Just watch your step on kitchen tile, or else maybe hit the bottom of the shoes with sandpaper? ... show more

  • Great shoes
Size: 13 Wide Color: Grey
This is my second pair. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I primarily use these for walking about 2 miles several time per week. The first pair lasted about 1 1/2 years. Still look great and usable, but the soles are getting thin. I'll continue to wear that pair as leisure shoes. I wear the 13 wide and they fit perfect. Beware that I bought a pair of Skechers slip-ins at a local big-box store in a different style (not Bobs Squad Chaos) and they aren't anywhere near as comfortable. So just because you get a Skechers brand doesn't mean you get the same fit/comfort. ... show more

  • Great Shoe for work, strong slip in support.
Size: 9.5 Color: Black/Black
Comfortable, lots of cushion, and tight enough for no tie. Size is true. Breathable. I like…yes.
