Over the past 4 or so years, I've done increasingly more walking. It's an exercise for everyone, and has so many upsides with *almost* no injury potential. One of the big issues for me is getting blisters, or having to deal with tripping because the shoelaces became untied. Not sure if I'm getting worse at laces or if laces are getting worse? In either case, I really like these shoes. They're designed in a way that they really are almost entirely hands free with getting on, and in the same design, also have no laces to tie. This can get getting them on and walking a lot faster, as you don't really have to sit down or tie anything. Saving the 1-2 minutes is nice every day! Comfort wise, these things are clearly entirely designed for walking. Tons of cushioning, in true Sketchers fashion. And speaking of fashion...they're ok? Very clearly walking shoes, maybe leaning a little more towards middle or old age. Not that I'm complaining, I'm middle age and not hiding it! These are my go to pair now. I used to wear hiking shoes, but those things caused blisters almost every time. Sizing wise, follow the Amazon recommendations. That worked great for me.

I brought this for my husband who was impressed with hearing the rave review on my own Sketchers. These shoes fit him great and he loves the ease with putting them on and taking them off. He usually wears a size 11D but that width was not available so I purchased the size 11. He states that right now he doesn’t notice any discomfort and likes the Sketchers (without socks). Hopefully he will continue to like the Sketchers when he begins wearing socks with them this Fall.

I bought these for my dad because his mobility is decreasing and it’s hard for him to tie his shoes. He loves them. He has another pair, a different style, but he likes these better because they’re a lot lighter. They’re the only shoes we have found that he can slip right into easily without help. We have already purchased another pair, I would highly recommend for someone that has a hard time getting their shoes on.

These are nice shoes! They look good and appear to be high quality. The sizes are larger than any other shoe manufacturers. I normally wear a men's 11.5, but in these shoes I needed to go down to a 10.5. Recommended!
