I'm 65 and I've worn New Balance Extra Wide shoes most of my life and a pair of brooks, over time all wear out eventually, so when it happened I looked for something new, I asked AI that I use & it suggested these the Go Walk Flex, no tie slip on's but look like they tie, they look great, they feel great, so far I love them, from now on these will be my go to shoes, I bought a half size larger than I wear and they are so comfy and soft on my high arch and my old ones were hurting the side of my right foot, these are making the soreness feel ok right now. ... show more

While looking for a replacement slip-on athletic shoes, I came across these on sale and decided to give them a try in the X-Wide version. Overall, I have mixed feelings about them. On the positive, the shoe itself is comfortable with decent cushioning. The insole did feel a bit flat and unsupportive at first , but they feel fine now, perhaps the insoles have re-shaped a bit around the soles of my feet from wearing them now. Despite the black/white color, I noticed that they seem more like a navy blue color in most lighting. One thing that I didn't know was that a Skechers X-Wide is equivalent to a 4E width. I had assumed that this just meant an E or a 2E. I usually wear a D width, but with my Adidas Lite Racer shoes, I would notice that the D width on them could feel a little snug. So this is a reason why I wanted to try the X-WIde, but these are way too wide for me. The shoes feel like they are floating around my foot. They're not uncomfortable to wear, but they definitely feel floaty. I would suggest going down a half-size if you normally wear a D width and want to give an X-Wide Skechers shoe a try. Another thing I didn't like was that I needed to exchange the first pair that I received for a replacement pair due to what appeared like a manufacturing defect with the glueing of the sole to the shoe fabric. There was a noticeable gap on one small area of a shoe where the sole didn't appear to be completely adhered to the fabric. So I would highly recommend that you inspect this for any potential issues once you have received the shoe. ... show more

so I've been having some trouble with my legs and it's caused me some issues with mobility and walking and it got to the point was just extremely painful after a while and I realize that my shoes although not the problem we're not helping. So I ordered these because I've been using sketchers for a long time and I like them very much. I can't tell you these are night and day. I'm not by any means better because again that has nothing to do with my shoes but they really have alleviated a lot of the pain I was having walking around when I had to walk and they definitely made it easier to stand up for longer periods of time. They slip in feature is very nice these are just very comfortable well fit well-made shoes and I beat the hell out of shoes I weigh 500 pounds OK I I destroy shoes but the sketchers and the last three pairs of sketchers I've had have held up extremely well and these are very very comfortable I will be getting these again and when my surgery is over and I'm able to walk normally again these are gonna be my go to shoes for a long time ... show more

**UPDATE** I have been wearing these for several months now and I have broken them in how ever because they are slip ons the back part of the shoe has metal or something in it to keep their shape but it makes it impossible to break in & the shoe constantly rubs against the skin on the back of my ankle and remove the skin, I have to put large thick bandaids on just to wear them for more than 15 minutes of activity. No matter how much I break them in the back of the shoe continues to remove large patches of skin & it really hurts! Not having to tie my sneakers isn’t worth the pain I got these just to wear when I use my under desk treadmill while I work & I’m pleased with them. They are really comfortable, lightweight & easy to slip on. They do rub on the back of my ankle & take the skin off but I think just need to break them in better. ... show more
