    • Slightly weak for a Skechers shoe

I love Skechers shoes and this is about my 10th pair. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe and this "GoRun" shoe is mixed in that regard. While the foam arch is definitely comfortable, that comfort completely disappears at balls of the feet and toes. Here, the shoe feels very thin. After 10 miles of walking, the sole is showing slight wear. I don't believe these shoes will hold up to the walking that my After Burners have endured. The heal is also slightly uncomfortable and has the typical plastic support, which I'm certain will be the first inner part of the shoe to wear out. The shoe is light, but it also looks cheap. The one very bright spot is how cool the shoe is. Most of the upper is a highly breathable mesh, which is noticeably cooler than the rest of the shoe. Overall, this is not up to my Skechers expectations. The Goga Mat is comfortable, but not as comfortable as the memory foam. I do expect that the Goga Mat material will probably hold up well, but my guess is that the sole will wear out before I can test this theory. This shoe should be priced closer to $30. ... show more

I've had these shoes for about two weeks. They are not my "running only" shoes, but my all-around shoes. I use them when I play sports, doing yard work, or just need a pair of shoes to run errands. The arch support is pretty nice, they are very comfortable to walk in. They look pretty durable, which was another reason I bought them. Overall I am very pleased. My only thought is that I could've gone a half-size down. I'm usually a 10.5 4E (which I ordered 10.5 XW), but there is a little extra room than normal in the toe. ... show more

These are my first ever Skechers runnibg/walking sneakers I have owned. The comfort is the best ever, Light weight and the soles are very cushiony. I have chronic back pain and Parkinsons Disease and these Skechers have help me to move arounf with ease and comfort. I just bought a second pair. Plus the 10.5 X-wide is a plus. I was shocked at the lack of cushion, light weight, and thinner than my last pair of shoes. Nothing like I expected. I would return them, but probably can’t get same shoes as I owned before. What has happened to Sketchers? Even laces are thinner and smaller. Manufacture is disappointing!
