I ordered these under the Try Before You Buy program and after two days of activities, I was convinced to keep them. Just slipping them on told me a lot about them. They hug my feet with just enough pressure to feel secure without binding. They feel like my Asics having that nice, controlled, and cushioned step void of a squishy feel. And like my Asics, I look forward to putting the Skechers on and moving around. They do have the look of running shoes but without that winged-sandals-of-Hermes style so prevalent. I wanted a slimmer sole for casual shoes, but you lose the padding and end up with stiff shoes - no thanks. They are a little darker than what I consider to be classic Khaki, closer to a true brown. But in a brighter setting, the stitching gets closer to my idea of Khaki. Getting one size up was a good recommendation, though I do wear no-show socks with these. There is no real arch support, which is good for me. These Skechers are machine-washable? I’d like to keep them fresh looking, but it would seem like putting good cookware in the dishwasher. While my sandals and huaraches are still a part of the lifestyle, these Sketcher sneakers are too comfortable not to wear them. The price was great, especially compared to some of the shoes I have tried that failed.

I just had a hip replacement about two weeks ago. I am moving around very well and was looking for a shoe that was easy to get on, comfortable, had great traction and stability. The shoe seems to fit all of those categories. One thing I'm very happy about is that I listened to the suggestions that I get an 11 instead of a 10 1/2. I've always been a ten and a half and was really resisting the eleven. But the eleven fits just right Has great comfort and stability.

I like these shoes, I got them to wear with suits sometimes instead of dress shoes. They seem to run 1/2 size smaller than other sketchers. I normally wear 10.5, and I have a few other different colored pairs. but for this style, I returned the 10.5 and got an 11, which fits.

I ordered size 12 X Wide and when I got them, the length was perfect but the width seemed a little bit wide. I then looked at many more reviews and found a lot of guys felt the same way and to compensate, some went to a size 12 regular width and some tried size 11 1/2 X Wide. I tried both solutions and found that my original choice was the right one for me. as size 12 regular were too narrow and 11 1/2 X Wide too short and a little too narrow, too. Good looking shoes and the arch feels good too. First new shoes I've bought i awhile that don't have memory foam.

He hurt his foot and his other shoes didn’t fit well or were uncomfortable. We ordered these in the wide size to accommodate the swelling in his foot and he loves the fit. Easy to slip on and comfortable when he’s on his feet all day at work.

These are absolutely amazing! I have not been able to walk very well or be on my feet very much because of arthritis pain in my feet. But after putting these on I immediately had less pain, and after wearing them for a week, I can stand for quite a while before having to sit down. And I can walk again! A+ for comfort and function.

I have worn them as an every day shoe for around two years. They look nearly as good as new. One time I really got them dirty with mud. I soaked them in water and then put them in a gentle cold water wash cycle in our agatator washing machine. I didn't speed dry them. I rinsed them by hand in cold water. I set them on a register with the A/C. By morning they were dry and looked like new.
