These shoes are excellent in my opinion. The fit, the look, quality of construction. I am particularly impressed with the sizes available. Sometimes these slip-on loafers seem to be sold in just whole number sizes, and also no wide sizes. I'm a 10 and a half wide and they wide ones in 10-1/2 fit perfect. Just a note about break-in: They do feel like they're moving up and down on the heel at first -- however as the sole gets more flexible this goes away. They stay on my feet well and with the comfort they "disappear" -- that is, I'm not feeling anything distracting in my feet. Your mileage may vary, but I think these are great shoes. ... show more

These are great for just about any occasion. My last pair was 9 years old and they've held up no problem as my daily shoe. One thing I would note is that if you think you have a wide foot, make sure to go with the extra wide fit because the regular fit is a bit snugger that I would like, but after about 3-5 days of a break-in period they're just as comfortable as my old pair. For reference, I have a narrow foot and these were still a pretty tight fit so if you have any doubt, I would suggest just getting the wide fit because the regular fit seems to run a bit narrow. This is my third pair in the avillo relaxed style and the ones i just bought are in wide and they fit well...but the last pair i got seemed really wide & fit looser and i never caught the fact that i had been sent extra wide but i can still wear them okay. one pair i bought in the reg. 11 size fit but were a tight fit & broke in and they were made in china and seemed to run smaller than the other two made in vietnam. i really like these shoes as they are comfortable on my feet and lasted over the time i have owed and wore them daily. ... show more

Listen very carefully, I'll only say this once, Best shoe ever for casual wear and ultimately your favourite shoe for wearing around the garage, garden etc. As soon as one pair starts to show too much wear for casual wear out and about i order a new pair and then they last me a year or two as my "work" shoe. I've had a similar pair of relaxed fit Skechers and decided to buy another as they were super comfortable. I typically run size 10.5 - 11 and ordered an 11 in these. They are super comfortable with one exception - the area over the top of the foot I found to be too snug (on one foot). An 11.5 would probably fix that, but I'm concerned the rest of the shoe would feel too big. I like the style and the pics give you a good idea of the look. These just came in today, and as is expected with Sketchers, they fit me perfectly. I'm a size 8 male with a bit of a wide foot, so I end up having to play around a lot with sizing when it comes to other brands. These, however, are very comfortable.

This is my 2nd pair of these! 1st pair is relegated to yard work shoes. Soles are still good, inside soles are worn down and the shoes are frayed allover, but they are my go to comforts. Have been allover the world with these shoes, and they have never let me down. New pair is identical to the old ones. Expect them to last as long as the others, which are 8 years old. Very comfortable, easy on & off, socks or bare. wash if you want, they will not let you down. Have them in Black also. ... show more
