Husband, now retired, spent years in seriously heavy Steel Toe-Metatarsal Work Boots. He also had a serious injury to his foot many years ago which caused some lasting nerve damage and has recurring gout issues as well. Very picky about shoes now. Usually wears open toe slides or sandals, winter version is with socks! So when he who says nothing-only grunts said "Yeah, they're alright" Translation: These are really comfortable, and like how they look! See I am wearing them! I bought this model of Sketchers about 18 months ago and have worn them 5 days a week or more since. They are super comfy and I love how easy it is to put them on. They are truly slip in shoes. I worried that shoes so easy to put on would easily fall off too, but they stay on very well. The old ones were getting a bit worn out and I knew I wanted another pair of Sketchers.     • Decent shoe that comes in wide sizes

This shoe fits well, but feels strange. It's more for a flat-footed person. However, it doesn't rub blisters on your ankles or toes if you get the right size, which is easier to get than most shoes because it comes in wide sizes. I like them because I don't like wearing laces when I walk for exercise, and the shoe is lightweight. It has lasted reasonably well for It's construction, but don't expect to get more than 250 miles of use out of them. The color is OK too, if you like black shoes. ... show more

This shoes are very comfortable. The sole is very soft so I'm not sure how it's going to hold with time since I'm a big guy. They fit a bit big on me but that's what makes them comfortable. They could be a little narrower for my taste but that's different for everyone. I would buy them again though.
