I like the support Skechers give. They also always last, still using my older ones for working out, 3 years now. The cushion is really comfortable. Versatile for all my walking, riding ebike or motorcycle. No slipping and never ever a blister. I'm always trying to find the 9.5W and Skechers always come through. Small Town living gets tough for some things. Good price.

I ordered these through Amazon, the vendor was the Skechers store, very nice, they fit well, comfortable, but they had been worn. Fairly obvious, some wear on the soles and a couple of small pebbles stuck in the lugs. They are probably 95% new, haha. Anyway, pleased but this pair should have been discounted.

Very pleased with these shoes! I remember when sketchers first hit the market,and they were more of a kids shoe back then,at least targeting the younger age demographic. Never really checked them out because I just associated them with kids. Not so much anymore. I have crazy feet..... extremely high arches,long toes,and a wide foot print(no relation to Sasquatch) These are THE most comfortable sneakers,tennis shoes,cross trainers,walking shoes, whatever you call them in your neck of the woods,that I have found yet. Very comfortable,even on my feet,great for walking,playing with the dogs,or just wearing them all day long. I am pretty picky about my footwear,and so far this is a quality shoe. I would definitely recommend these. I will update the review after they have been "put through the ringer" a little bit, but so far.....so good

I don't typically write reviews of products this quickly - only Received the Sketchers Energy Afterburn Sneakers yesterday. I felt compelled to. I have size 13 foot, but based on other reviewers' recommendation, I sized Up to a 14 Wide. They were right. The 14 Wide was the way to go for me. The Sneaker offers solid platform for activity. I have some Balance issues due to Spinal & Cervical Stenosis at 72 Years Old, these shoes seem to provide a better platform form their solid and a bit more rigid sole - being helpful to me. They could be a scooch more wide in the toe box, but being leather uppers I know they will Give and stretch out over time. I'm a bit more hampered than others in that I need to wear Orthotics in the right shoe to accommodate my leg length discrepancy of about 1" on the right leg. They fit comfortably and at this price appear to be a Bargain to me. IMHO, these are not Pure Walkers but more a Shoe for activities. They are a bit heavier than my New Balance & Clark Walkers but with more foot/ankle support.

I walk a lot, like 20+ miles a week. I go through shoes at a pretty good clip so I'm always trying to find reasonably priced shoes that are comfortable and will hold up as long as possible. These shoes have worked out very well, well enough that I've already gotten a second pair for when I've worn the heals off of these. The gold standard are when I can get a year out of a pair and these aren't going to go that long, but they are doing well enough I'm very satisfied. The only complaint is how they glue in the insoles. If I had needed to replace them with better ones to make the shoes comfortable I would have been out of luck. Fortunately the provided ones have worked for me but I can see how they might not work for everyone.
