  • Awesome Shoe! Bought Second Pair after Trying Them!!!
Size: 12 Color: Black/Black
The Skechers Hand Free Slip in Shoe is an engineering marvel! Why didn't a shoe company come up with this design 50 years ago? The shoe is well made and feels substantial, and it securely stays on after slipping your foot in - yet it is easy to take off when you want to. There's no time lost tightening and tying laces. My only disappointment with the shoe is that its factory insoles offer little arch support, which my feet require, but that was easily remedied by replacing the factory insoles with arch insoles also purchased on Amazon - and they haven't hindered my ability to slip in and out of the shoes. I was so impressed with this shoe and its all-day comfort that I immediately bought a second pair! ... show more

The Skechers Men's Afterburn M. Fit Ridgeburn Hands-Free Slip-in Loafer is nothing short of a game-changer in the world of footwear. As someone who values both comfort and convenience, I couldn't be more pleased with these loafers. The standout feature of these loafers is undoubtedly the hands-free design. • skechers are the best fitting sneaks i have ever worn

  • Very good and hands free feature really works but….
Size: 12 X-Wide Color: Gray/Black
This is my second (identical) pair - very high marks for fit, comfort, traction and overall attractiveness. ALTHOUGH well finished and carefully constructed - BE WARNED - once again I am seeing separation between sole and upper body on its sides. I do NOT use these for sports or excessive walking and am disappointed in lifetime wear experience - nine months to a year and the aforementioned sole separation makes them leak on rainy days or on wet ground. The bottom soles show minimal wear but the separation problem - well, it’s a problem. (attached photo shows separation with a wood chip that tried to enter!) ... show more

  • Oh I would walk five hundred miles, and I... think that's quite enough.
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Black/Charcoal
Update: Review title was pretty accurate. The padding in the back of the shoes split open around 600 miles. So if that's a decent amount of time for you, I'd still say go for it. That was a month and change for me though, so back to looking I go. I want to start by saying that if you just want a comfy pair of loafers for work or home, and you don't do any heavy work or long walks or runs, these are pretty solid. It took me a bit to get used to the back of the shoes rubbing against my heels a a bit, but oddly I never got any blisters from this over the couple months I've had these. I'm keeping it 5-star because I feel like these are perfectly fine shoes for what they're aimed at and I'm just using them laughably out-of-scope. Tl;dr: If you know you really walk, like you don't drive and still go places, get something with more padding. I want these to be perfect for this, but they really aren't. If you want a slipper for the first 5-10 miles of the day, these are probably gonna treat you great. If you want to go for that eleventh mile, maybe aim for something more padded. I'll have to follow that advice myself soon. That review title's no exaggeration, which brings me to another reason to praise these shoes before I start cautioning against using them like I did: they're still totally fine. I've been taking these over grass, concrete, asphalt, wood, carpet, tile, the belt of a treadmill, and probably anything you might find between those and they're still not obviously wearing. What I mean by that, is I'll often see flats wearing into outsoles by now, and probably any double-molded stuff will start falling out around this point, and so far everything looks fine. The insoles similarly have no clear craters forming in the heels, which is another common wear point I see in many shoes. Alright, now finally onto the negatives for my personal use cases. I look for shoes that fit every need from personal to professional to athletic, and chase the single closest fit I can find for all of that, and the only other footwear I go for is boots for rain/snow. These loafers get really close to ticking every box other than what the boots do, but my heels, knees, and the balls of my feet regularly remind me that there just isn't enough padding in these shoes for walking and running 10-20 miles a day without some drawbacks. ... show more
