I love these pants! They look great, fit well and they are made out of quietest waterproof material I’ve ever seen. The zippers on the legs make it easy to put them on over boots and base layers. I wore them on a trip to Scotland and my legs and base layer stayed completely dry during light rain and walking in calf-high wet grass. I didn’t give 5 stars only because they are a little stiff. They did seem to soften after a couple days of use and a wash. They are also rated for warm seasons but I feel they are a little heavy for temps over 70. However, we did a lot of climbing and hiking with temps around 60-65 and I never felt uncomfortably hot. I do wish they were a little more packable. Because of the stiffness/thickness of the material they don’t roll down in to a small ball you can stick anywhere. They took up a good bit of room in my pack. As for sizing, I am 140 lbs, 27.5” waist and 40” hips and medium fits perfect. Not too tight or baggy in any area. Length was perfect as well. I’m 5,5 and normally wear 31” to 32” inseam. Sitka consistently makes great gear. I love every Sitka piece I own. More expensive than others but well worth the money. ... show more

Fits a woman with hips.. Fit was good, stayed dry on a rainy 14 day sheep hunt. Just not lite, and doesn't pack small. Worth the size and weight though.

This was a fantastic purchase. I used it to hunt in Alaska. It was a little large as stated and fit over all other layers. I slipped and fell into the water at a shale beach area. I had 3 layers of gear on with the Sitka downpour being the outer layer. It got wet but I stayed dry. Falling into the water was embarrassing enough. Can't say enough about not having to drag everyone back to base camp so I could change clothes. ... show more
