I already have a jetstream jacket in open country and I absolutely love it so I figured getting one in 'dirt' would be just as nice! The dirt colored one is a little thinner material than the open country one for some reason, but it's still a nice jacket and I'm still pleased with it. Definitely a layering jacket for colder days. Big Sitka fan, I have three of these jackets (black, dirt and tidal). I am 5'9" and 150-170 depending on my current exercise. I prefer the medium, but large fits fine too. Depending on what you like in style, I have the 2021 and older version. The 2022 version is different in color options and the zipper areas have different colors. Regardless, I love these jackets. Not great for insulation but great for wind protection. If you wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath, you don't need insulation for everyday wear. Great stuff. I prefer to buy these on sale as you can get them for $100 or more off if you are patient. ... show more

This is a very well made jacket. Keep me warm from the cold 7°f wind shield while elk hunting. This jacket fits snug. Order a size larger if you want it to be your outer layer when layering.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He is constantly going bow fishing and needed something for the wind. This jacket worked perfectly. true to size and kept him warm plus he was able to pull his bow back comfortably. Highly recommend.

My husband loves this jacket! Size up tho! I originally ordered a Large (my husband is between a Lg & XL) but had to send back for the XL. XL fits perfect! This jacket is super warm, stylish & slimming. So happy with purchase!

Nothing to dislike about the Sitka Jetstream. I will say that they run a little small. A Large (what I normally wear) was tight in the arm pits. Otherwise, arm length and overall fit were spot on. I bought the XL so I could layer the other Sitka gear.

Great jacket for day to day activity. Haven’t had it in the field yet, but might on a goose hunt I have coming up. Perfect on its own with a normal shirt underneath it in 30-40 degree weather.

    • big downgrade from the older version
I have a Jetstream from 4-5 years ago that has been my go-to coat for hunting and playing in the woods. It blocked wind well, shed water well, fit right, was flexible, basically did everything well for a lightweight coat. The experience with that coat is what led me to buying a second one for use in rainy Seattle weather. The new version seems like a totally different coat. It fits weird on the shoulders so the lapel doesn't lay flat and always flops way open exposing the interior of the jacket. It blocks some wind, but not as well as the old model. The cuffs are cut at a weird angle and don't lay flat. A 30 min walk in light rain was enough to soak through the new version, again I think this is due to the change in the shoulder/lapel design which retains water rather than sluff it off. Really disappointed in this version and absolutely cannot recommend it considering the price. ... show more
