This Sink Saddle, Kitchen Sink Mat, Divider works exactly as described. The suction cups stay tight on our stainless steel sink, yet allow for easy removal when it comes time to clean and disinfect the entire 2-section sink, as we like to do since one side is used for scraps and trimmings that are ground up through the disposal. It fits exactly as is needed to provide protection for the items that do occasionally hit the edge of the sink when clearing scraps off them into the disposal sink. Its color is a good one for the stainless steel sink, and it has not shown any signs of staining over the six months of use. The price was better than others we have used that did not stand up as well as this one.

Suction cups do not stick to my composite granite sink. But, the material is very soft, and lays flat. I've been using the sink protector for a few days now, and it does not slide around. The sides are long enough, and material is soft enough, that this works for me even though the suction cups don't adhere to sink.

I received a notice from the company that I could cancel my order as they had had complaints the suction cups did not always adhere properly. I appreciate the contact but it was too late to return. That said, I have stainless sink and the suction cups could not be tighter. They do not come loose even after a week or more. When I do try and lift to clean I have to really pull to dislodge. For me this device is perfect and looks good. If you have a stainless sink do not think twice and just order.
