I have 2 self-winding pocket watches. So, I bought this style and the shorter one that is designed for 2 watches. The short one works ok. I just prefer the way this taller one looks. I applied a foam pad to the back side of it and use a rubber band that is large enough to fit both watches. Since the watches are heavier than wristwatches it doesn't ocellate as fast as it does with just one, but the motion is sufficient to wind up both watches ... show more

    • Stopped charging after 1 week!
I was excited to get this watch winder because of the good price and because it did not need to be plugged in. Instructions were a little confusing as far as operating it and setting the timer, but the look was very cool and seemed fine. But then after one week, it stopped charging.     • Very easy to use and for much less money
Since my watch is a self-winder I have recently retired and do not wear my watch every day like I used to. When I do put it on it had stopped running so I had to re-set it. Then a friend said to look into a self winder for my watch. I looked on the Internet and found many types from under $100 to over $500. The higher priced models were for multiple watches and I only had one. Looking further I found ones for single watches under $100. The one I picked was not the cheapest but was still under $30.     • Not good for a watch you don't plan on using in the near future.
The watch winder is not hard to put together if you watch the video. Paper instructions are bad. The biggest negative is that it will work for up to 5 hours then quits. A waste of time if you don't plan on reusing the watch soon.

works well so far. set timer and walk away. easy to put together. fits all my watches. has a slight ticking noise but not really noticeable with any other ambient noise. battery seems to hold up well.

Awesome gadget. Works well for my Seiko Kinetic watch which is unlike any other automatic watches. It requires impulsive movements.
