Description

This set of 36 Class 15J threaded bobbins can be used in SINGER and other manufacturers’ sewing machines. The pack contains 6 black-threaded bobbins, with 50 yards of thread in each, and 6 white threaded bobbins, with 50 yards of thread in each. The reels come in a reusable plastic case. All thread is 100% spun polyester. Consult your machine’s manual to ensure correct bobbin size. Never add thread to a partially wound bobbin, as it may be uneven and cause thread to tangle or break.

I about these twice for two different purposes. I used to wind up my own thread on bobbins. When I saw theses, I thought I'd give them a try. They are great! I'm more of a survival sewer and nowhere near a tailor, so I don't know about the quality of the thread, but they've held up for whatever I needed them for and you can't beat the convenience. That was a few years ago, and I still have a bunch. More recently, I ordered them again because I found another use for them... not so much for the thread as for the bobbins themselves. I kept the few bobbins I emptied. I'm glad I did because I was making some fidget spinners and wanted something for the center where your fingers hold onto the spinner. I cut one of the bobbins in half and found that it fit perfectly and securely in the center of the skateboard wheel bearing. I needed a bunch, so I looked into buying empty bobbins, but it turned out that these were cheaper than the empty bobbins. ... show more

Perfect set to toss into my little sewing kit. Each bobbin has ample thread for making small repairs, and it's much more compact than having them all full sized. They roll around in the case a little bit, would be nice if it were fitted a bit better but i suppose it makes it easier to pull each one out. as for the quality of thread, it's perfectly suitable for my needs though I will admit I'm not an avid sewer and have little to compare it to other than the Coats and Clark thread my mother buys - of which I would say this is comparable. ... show more

Perfect as described! I have used most of the white ones but they can be reused for other colors. For the price it was a great value. However it is hard to find the starting thread but smh it's okay.
