We're in the super fun phase of our teenager accruing 6 months of driving experience after having completed driving school. It's terrifying. Don't get me wrong, we have a good kid with a serious attitude, but driving out in the real world throws all kinds of curveballs at a new driver. Especially sleet, snow, ice and the sun going down before 4pm. Weeeeee. Since the first few weeks involved some instances of people driving right up our tailpipe in exasperation at someone having the audacity to drive the exact speed limit, sometimes swerving slightly when introduced to super short exits/entrances or confusing turn lanes, ice, or pitch black evenings, we got quite a few people driving by as they passed glaring into the car. (No middle fingers though, so I guess everything was going pretty well.) I decided to buy these and slap them on the back of the car so at least people knew what was going on and would hopefully have some empathy. Nothing against product but they don't all stick to the back of my car. I tried all of them none stick so I am assuming the tail gate is more plastic than metal

My son just got his learner's permit and I was shocked by how many people honked and tailgated several inches from the back of our bumper. I’m in my parenting teens era, which means my kids are experiencing a lot of milestone events, like learning to drive. I have two who just started driving. And it’s SO scary (IYKYK). While I know they will make mistakes, we have worked hard to help them be safe, good drivers. I can’t say the same for other people on the road. While these don’t keep all people from being jerks on the road, it does give other drivers warning so they can give my new drivers a little space. The magnets are strong and reflective and do the job. They haven’t peeled or faded at all, and we never remove them from the vehicle, so these magnets been exposed to all the elements. We plan to keep them on for the first six months, and I expect them to last.
