I wanted to love this dress. The material was nice and the dress sat well on the body. However the straps were super wide on the shoulders and kept falling off even after tightening them more than they should need to be. I also have broader shoulders so I'm not sure what body type these straps would have been made for. Ended up returning because I don't want to be pulling up the straps every 10 seconds throughout the whole night.

Buying clothes online can be daunting and often ends in disappointment. Not so much on Amazon but not unheard of and certainly have been duped before here too. Beyond that buying for others is also a bit tricky. This time I scored a winner! I loved the way it looked in the adverts. Took an educated guess at the sizing. Gave it for Christmas. I was right on with the color chosen. Turns out we both loved the way it looked on her. Beautiful fit, narrow and silky smooth. Wonderful on the hips and belly. Really great with a minimal strapless bra giving her perfect definition at the bust area. She is very picky about her clothing and she is not easy to buy for-this one is definitely a do not miss! Now she says we need to go out for a night on the town so that she can wear it. I am OK with that! UPDATE: Valentines Day turned out to be a winner this year. Many compliments on this dress while we were out celebrating. Great fit, looks beautiful on her.

The color is accurate and the material is super silky and soft. I wore it out a couple times. It’s definitely well made and high quality. Feels like the ones I got for a much higher price. This a beautiful dress! Be aware that it does huge your curves and can look a little wonky. The dress came down to my feet compared to the picture ( I'm 5ft ). The only downside is I felt like I was always fixing the dress and pulling it down because it would huge my hips and shift.

I tried to get into this dress without the zipper and failed, but after trying again with the zipper, it was a good fit. The material is a satin (not a silk, mind you) and it drapes. This dress is a midi style and will go past the knee, so pairing with a heel of some kind was needed for me in order to feel less frumpy. See picture for measurement from shoulder. I felt like this was a weird one to wear with a bra, so if you have the ability to go braless, do it. If you're larger in the bust, a strapless bra can be worn but needs to be positioned and I would recommend moving a bit before going out to make sure you like the movement in the dress. For reference, I am 5'9 and 170 lbs, and a large fit me. However, the bust was weird, and I can't tell if it's because of the cowl neck and I needed to adjust it, or if my bust was just a little too big with the addition of the strapless bra. I'm going to wear it again and see how it does with a less bulky bra and if it works well, I will update the review.

I bought this for my wife who is 5'5" and about 140 lbs. I got her a med. It fit her nicely and the color is pretty. It was longer than what I thought it would be, but that is on me since I didn't look closely at the picture. It's very soft. Her complaint was the straps and the neck line. The straps did not sit right and dug into her shoulders. Yes, she could have adjusted the straps, but doing so would have made the front of the dress too low for her liking.

This dress is much nicer in person. The material is thicker and substantial. It doesn’t feel like a nightgown or slip. It glides over the body and is full length on me. It is somewhat fitted, but not tight. The straps are adjustable. I have a bit of trouble adjusting the front so it drapes like I want it to. I think I need to put the drape in the middle not evenly across. I ordered an X-Large going by their size chart. I normally wear size Large. For reference I am 5’3” tall, 150 pounds, 41-31-41.
