I have sensory processing disorder and buying any bedding online is always a risk since I can’t touch it first before I buy. Knowing this, I stick to certain brands and or fabric types (or what they “claim” to be fabric wise). I’m a fan of linen and percale but it’s often disappointing buying online because once I touch it, it’s not linen. The price of the sheets here are high and I really tried to do my research on this company and the ratings. I am so happy with these sheets. The feel, weight, and color are magnificent and I will buy them a million times over. After getting over the initial sticker shock, I hit the bullet and bought a set. They’re perfect! So comfy and the fitted sheet actually fits and doesn’t pop off. Ended up getting a set of eucalyptus sheets by Sijo as well.

I did my own little comparison and purchased a set of Sijo Linen sheets in Blush, and a set from DAPU in Light Lilac. First, I haven’t had them long, so this is for use for a few weeks. The Sijo sheets are denser and softer than the DAPU sheets. Both are nice, but the quality of the linen of the Sijo sheets seems higher. Both are assembled in China, but it appears that the fabric is milled in EU. Linen will ALWAYS fade, that’s just a fact of life, so if you want sheets that don’t fade, don’t buy linen or purchase White or natural linen colors. Linen has remarkable wicking and cooling properties, much better than cotton (I buy very expensive high quality long stable cotton sheets and prefer them in winter). If you live in a hot, humid environment linen is a great pick. I change my sheets every 2 days, and both sets have been washed a few times with good wear and the expected softening that is a bonus with linen. ... show more

I probably should wait a while before writing a review on sheets that I received just yesterday - as soon as they arrived I tossed them in the washer and dryer and put them on my bed. I've been searching for The Perfect Linen Sheets that won't break the bank. What I was looking for was something similar to the (now discontinued) Eileen Fisher stonewashed flax linen sheets from Garnet Hill. I did a TON of research and looked at all sorts of brands like Parachute, Brooklinen, The Citizenry, etc etc etc. So why did i pick these sheets? 1) French Flax Linen - from what I've read, the French sourced flax is the best. 2) Stone Washed - they were soft NOT scratchy right out of the bag (by the way these would make great gifts, as the sheets are in a linen sack - great presentation and I'm saving the sacks for future use) 3) Envelope-style pillowcases - a flap that keeps the pillow IN the case. That feature was a Must Have for me. 4) Well priced - I'd say in the median for linen sheets plus a little Amazon discount placed at checkout. French-sourced linen is usually higher priced. 5) fitted sheet has elastic all the way around not just at the corners and there's a tag that lets you know the short side and the long side which is a nice convenience 6) just a wonderful feeling - I slept so well and was so cozy and warm but not too warm! BTW I paired these sheets with the Pure & Opulence white washed Belgian flax basic style Duvet Cover and shams. It's delightful to have an all-white luxurious place to rest every night. I might even start taking naps...even though I'm a day person. highly recommended! ... show more

I was re-decorating my downstairs guest room and given that the room was in a basement, I really wanted everything to feel either bright or botanical to sort of counter-act the coldness of the cinder-block walls. I therefore spent a lot of time hunting for sheets that were in the EXACT shade of green that I had in my head. There were these and another set on Amazon that both had the EXACT same pictures, but these ones were more expensive so I figured the others were fake and got these. I'm extremely happy with them, they are exactly the color in the pictures and they are so soft. It's okay to put them in the dryer, but they will be wrinkly no matter what you do. I love that they really hold onto the scent of whatever they are washed in, so they smell amazing when you put them on the bed. They are extremely comfortable and definitely help keep me warm in the cold[er] basement room. [Of course I had to test them out]. The only think I would say against them is that for the price, I would really want them to be the highest quality and they appear sort of thin to me. Hopefully they stand the test of time, but that's why I knocked off a star; at this price-point I expected perfection. I have been on a quest for perfect sheets. I loathe synthetics, then I read on cotton Percale vs sateen etc every texture was falling short of what I was seeking I wanted the thick but light soft not smooth perfect weight. And on my reading I came to the conclusion I might actually want linen. I had worn linen plenty, I like the way it wears. So then came the research of which linen to try first. I finally decided on this one. As soon as I got it I washed them, because you really need to. Also linen gets softer with washing but it’s not smooth. I think so many people confuse a soft fiber with a smooth texture.. these are not smooth, they are soft. I have been sleeping on them nearly 2months now and every wash makes the fibers softer while retaining big the sumptuous coarse texture of the weave. We found that these are fantastic at regulating temperature. But fair warning the absolute pleasure of these sheets sent me further down the rabbit hole, creating a linen monster. Because the coverlet and blanket detracted from the linen sheets I had to switch to a linen duvet cover, linen shams, linen blanket etc. It was worth it, best sleep ever.
