I have a horrible time fitting jeans. I am 5'5" and 220 lb apple shape, my waist is thick and my hips are normal size. I bought these in an 18W short and they are absolutely perfect. Just the right size in the waist and hip area and the perfect length. There is just enough stretch but not so much that they feel like they are falling down all the time. I will definitely be buying more colors as they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned.

I am one of those women with a stack of jeans in a range of sizes for when I gain 5 lbs, lose 10 or gain another 15. I was at the top end of my range (200+ lbs) and my standby old navy curvy jeans aren't sold anymore. I am so not an old navy "slim" style (seem like all they sell anymore) of woman anymore like I was in my 20s and have a "more curvy" figure after my daughter was born. And with a toddler, a dressing room full of jeans isn't a possible ideal anymore. Enter amazon wardrobe. I added 6 pairs of jeans in a range of sizes and brands. These were by far the best in the box. I chose the "long" version based on other reviews of shrinkage and I am glad I did. I am not overly tall at 5'6" but I do have longer legs that average, I think. I also like jeans to bunch a bit at the ankle and after the first few days of wear and a wash, these are just right....for a short time. Now for the bad part (which is why I only rated 4 stars). The longs fit just right on the first few wears. Then they started falling down and I had to keep yanking them up. When they started getting larger in the waist they also got longer (since they were falling down), so i had to roll them up to not scuff on the floor. I get that they were longs and were going to be just that, long....but they became very high maintenance once they stretched beyond what I would consider acceptable in the waist. So I decided to order a "regular" length in the same size. That should solve the issue when they start to stretch in the waist and become "high maintenance pants". After a few weeks of wear and a wash of the regulars, this pair has NOT stretched in the waist to the extent of the long versions. They remain a bit tight just after washing to comfortable (not sagging) after a week or so of wearing them every day. Overall, these are great jeans but different lengths of the same exact size stretch differently in the waist (the part that should remain consistent when buying the same size). If you get them and they fit "a bit tight" in the waist out of the box, they will wear and age just fine, if they fit just right initially, they will probably continue to stretch too much in the waist over time and they will become pretty annoying. I would buy these again as my jeans of choice, they are good quality, thick denim, free of defects, nice blue color and very comfortable (when they don't stretch out beyond normal), but be aware of the differences in waist stretch in the same size.

It’s hard for me to find jeans I like that fit of. I’m 44 so it often feels like I’m either wearing my daughter’s jeans or my grandma’s jeans. These definitely don’t feel like that. They fit great, true to size, have great stretch without getting super saggy by the end of the day, and they look great.

The jeans fit very nicely. They are well constructed and wash well. I wish they'd had a few more cuz I would have purchased more but as was I got two pair and I have been extremely happy with both pairs. They're very comfortable to wear and they look good and that's the reason that I bought them.

I have the worst time trying to find jeans that fit. These are the best fitting jeans on the planet!!!!!! I bought standard 10 short. I've been in between size 10 and 12. And usually when I order short they are way too short. These jeans are absolutely perfect and they fit snug but look like they fit not like they're too tight.

I bought my usual size 2P and the waist was way too big. The tag shows W26, but I measured and it was actually 29.5". I now see the size chart does show a larger waist size than what is on the tag, but it is still way too big and larger than the chart. These do seem comfortable, but there is no smaller size for me, so I will return and try to find a different pair.

So jeans usually fit me in the waist but hang in the rear area. Or they are way too tight in the waist and fit in my legs and rear. These are fitting well in all the places without being constricting. The material is a little on the lighter (weight) or (thickness maybe you would call it) side for Jean and stretchy nice for an every day Jean but not what i would call a “working” Jean. Mean for manual labor.
