These traditional Jeans by Levi Strauss are really perfect in every respect. Excellent fabric, smooth and skin friendly. There can be no doubt that there are other denims out there, other companies that make excellent Jeans, but Levi Strauss has the brand and the product that leads the pack. It is a tough competitive field but if there is an improvement or inventive idea in how to make a product more comfortable or to last longer Levi Strauss will be putting those improvements into their garments. So true of those traditional patented button rivets that have made their pants last longer since their inception. Let me remind you that Levi Strauss uses very traditional sizing. There is no about to the ABOUT. If you are a size 38 about the waist that is what you will get..and you will have a fine fitting pair of pants. The Jeans were very well packaged and delivered with personal care by the P service. I could not wait to try them on since it had been quite a spell since I had come to need a pair of Levi Strauss Jeans...a few years since my last purchase. This was more or less a test to see if the product was still good quality. It is, so I will be buying more. Levis are always my choice in dressy casuals and you just cant beat the fit and the soft overall comfort that I experienced the moment I put them on. It is really difficult to review something that is so decidedly different in so many respects. I am well satisfied and would speculate with more than a modicum of surety that the Levi Strauss brand will continue in the biz for a good long stretch to come. I give these "Traditional" britches by Levi Strauss a full five star rating for quality and value. I am wearing them as I write this review. No bind no pinched feeling anywhere. In my opinion that quality and fair pricing is responsible for the popularity of this dry goods store product since the mid 19th century. Get out that cloth tailors tape....measure your waist and inseam and order the size to suit.

I was searching Amazon for pants that can stretch when you sit down and I found these and I saw the reviews so I thought I would give these a try. I ordered 36x29 and they fit perfect and are easy to wash. They are probably the best pair of pants I've owned in over 10+ years.

These jeans were my go-to but they don't wear well. They develop holes in the crotch and or where the back pockets are sewn to the jeans. The size 36 I ordered many times were often not the same. Some were right on while others were either slightly larger or smaller. I switched from Levi's to Lee. I've worn Levi's my entire life. As a youngster, our parents would buy us these Levi's that were dark blue and stiff. We would wear them as they now instruct people to wear them. A week or more at a time without washing. Gradually they faded and became very soft. Then you would probably get a snag on a knee and the snag would start to unravel developing a hole in the knee, sometimes in both knees. Today, faded Jeans with holes all over them sell in excess of $100. This look was invented by us old hippies. These Levi Jeans really don't meet my expectations of Levi. Giving Levi the benefit of the doubt, maybe the fading process they are using is not working out well for them. Or these Jeans are flawed thus the lower price.
