Update: So I washed them and hung them to dry and now they feel looser. I suppose this is the right size then. Still not too long although they are slouchy like 80s leg warmers (which I like.) These barely fit. It may be the inside panel but I feel exceedingly constricted. They look fine. I’m glad I did not get an 18 short because the pair I received definitely don’t need to be hemmed for my 5’4” frame. I vacillated between sizes for days and finally just had to order. I wasn’t looking for skinny jeans just something without so much leg material. I hate returning items so I’ll just wear them fitted. If I order another color, I will try a 20 short. I do love the material. It is Texas winter weight and they are so soft.

Oh. My. God. Shut the front door and slap your grandma. Hold on tight because these jeans are gonna get you pregnant. I’m too hot, call the police AND the fireman. Songs immortalize fantastic behinds and if you’ve never felt like the subject of those songs then buy these jeans and buckle up! You’re about to feel like a honkytonk badonkadonk, baby got back, fat bottomed girls, and your anaconda is about to make girls go, “oh my gawd, Becky!” Now that the funny part of this review is over... shut up and buy these jeans. Buy ten pairs because Lord knows as soon as you find a pair of jeans you like you’ll never find them again. I am 4’11” tall, 173 lbs, 45” hips, 33” waist (definitely pear shaped), and I can never - I mean NEVER - find jeans that fit me. These are the right length. They fit my hips. They don’t gap at my waist. And this inner tummy slimming panel? Oh sweet baby cheezus YES. I have a two year old, an awesome mom pouch, and a healthy love of bread. These jeans make me look even better than I did before I grew another human being. Literally ditching every other pair of jeans I have and stocking my entire wardrobe with these.

As another reviewer stated, these jeans bag/sag at the knees, and for me tend to ride up my lower leg. I thought they were supposed to be genuine skinny jeans which taper to fit from waist to ankle. They were barely at my ankle bone in length. I always wash new jeans before wearing so the dye doesn't come off on my skin or other articles of clothing. I washed in cold water and dried on low, The length shrunk even more. Since I don't have the tags anymore and they've been washed, I won't return them but can only wear them with boots now. As another reviewer wrote, the so-called tummy smoother is nothing more than a piece of stretchy mesh spandex/nylon that does absolutely nothing to flatten my bulges (I bore three children and gained/lost a lot of weight and my skin is not as elastic as most women.) However, they are snug at the waist which does help a bit. I prefer a pull on style at this stage of my life and I'm satisfied with that aspect. I am 5'7", 140 pounds, and typically wear size 12 jeans with a 30" inseam. I should have gone with my gut and ordered the 32" inseam. The waist size is correct and did not seem to shrink - only the length. Unless you like your jeans riding above your ankles, I advise ordering a longer length than you normally would. They have a stonewashed appearance, no surprise there. Indigo with some slightly lighter patches that give the appearance of older jeans. Quality of fabric is good. The material is soft and smooth, heavier than I would have expected in "skinny" jeans but they are Levi's - jeans are jeans. These are not yoga pants. Overall, I find them comfortable, can wear them all day and not feel like I can't wait to take them off as I do with some jeans. I basically live in yoga pants so I don't demand my jeans be super comfortable but found these surprisingly so.

I am 5 -1 and weigh a 145ish, wear a size 12 or large my inseam is 28 inches and these pants fit great everywhere. The fabric is soft with the right amount of stretch and look like regular jeans. There is a smell but it's not bad and goes away with being aired out. I hung to dry like I do with stretch jeans so they didn't shrink. Great value for the money and will be purchasing other shades.
