I have wider hips, but a slimmer waist and not much of a behind, so jeans tend to fit me a little strange...never thought I belonged in the :"curvy" or "shaping" categories since I don't have much going on, but they are the types of jeans that finally fit! They have a great amount of stretch to accommodate hips, thighs, waist, everything! And they don't lose their shape or loosen up or sag throughout the day, either! I bought these in nearly every wash -- but beware, not all washes fit the same: I found the dark blue wash and the lighter washes with rips fit differently for some reason and tend to show a lot when you bend down or sit, so just make sure to try them on and do the bend-and-snap test before wearing them out. The light wash, black wash, and the grey wash with knee holes are fantastic -- shaping, hold everything in, don't show off your underwear choice when you sit, moves with you, comfortable all day long. Love these! I did have to go down a size though because I wanted them to be really form fitting - my regular size was a bit more loose and relaxed, which is also nice! These are different than the ones I got a few years ago. Different cut. These are definitely high waisted which is great. I do need to get a belt. I’m 5 foot 5 and I weigh maybe 185 and the size 14 fits fine. Almost big in the butt and legs but the waist is good. I think it’s a straight cut and not a curvy cut. They wash up fine and don’t shrink. They stay looking new. For a long time. The ones I bought 5 years ago are barely wearing out and I only have two pair and I wear the heck out of them. These are the same quality. They have a stretch. The zipper is good. The pockets aren’t yucky. I have hips and a big butt and these get loose and kind of sag when I stand after sitting which is why I need a belt. They don’t pinch or cut anywhere and with this extra weight that sure is a welcome thing. I got the 32 inch inseam and they’re perfect. 30 would have been too short. Next time I may order a 12 just to see how they fit. If you’re not sure about getting these I would say just try them. ... show more

Long but detailed review: I'm 5'6 250 for reference and I bought a 16 long for both pairs. I got the long because sometimes pants aren't long enough for me but I think I would have been fine with the regular length cause they bunch up at the bottom. The Sea sky (dark blue) color fit like a glove. I love them so much! I decided to get the night sky (black) color and they were really tight. I should have gone a size up for these ones. So be weary of the size differences in the different colors. They were also made in two different countries so IDK if that's why there sizing is different. They have a pretty decent amount of stretch to them. They're not like regular cotton jeans where they is no stretch, but they're also not like leggings where they're super stretchy either.. pretty much in the middle in my opinion. I've also worn and washed them both multiple times and they are holding up really well. So all in all really good jeans! ... show more

**UPDATE** The company sent a new pair 3 days later and they fit perfectly!!! Their customer service was fantastic. So now on to the original post.......I love the fit and look of this brand of pants. They are stretchy and very comfortable, fit well through the hips and behind, and they have skinny legs which are great for boots or sandals. I had ordered the dark blue and the black. I had been skeptical about the size chart I am 5'5" and 124 lbs. (I need a 28 waist pants with a 30 inch length on leggings and a 32 inch length on flares). Typically, this is a size 6 or 8 (depending on the company). However, the size chart specified a size 4. I struggled with ordering this size but was delighted when I received the blue pair of jeans. They fit perfectly! Sadly, I was sent a size 2 in the black pair. The black pair was the one I had wanted the most, as I wear that color often! I have reached out to have a replacement pair. So, since I love this style so much, I will raise this to a 5 star if the error is amended. ... show more

I LOVE these jeans. Since they fit so well and look so good, they’re now my go-to jeans, and I haven’t had jeans as good as these in a long while. They’re flattering, stretchy, and truly high-waisted. Color was a little darker than I expected, but clearly I don’t care. They’re perfect. I purchased a size 4, and I’m between a 4 and 6 in bottoms. I have a relatively big butt and big hips for my size. They jeans fit wonderfully and have good stretch, but still hug my lower body in a flattering way. These are good quality, and not cheap or thin. The shade is actually nicer in person, although darker than the very light color shown in the picture. Amazing find for the price, I like these better than the pricier Lee Wrangler jeans I bought in Amazon, although to be fair, I bought Lee’s super skinny black and didn't quite realize what I was buying. ... show more

These pants are cute and I wanted to like them. I've gained some weight and was updating my wardrobe. I bought a size 12 Tall and size 14. I'm 5'9, waist 33", hips 45". I'm like a semi-athletic build of someone who hasn't worked out since COVID lol Size 12 Tall was way too long in length on me (puddled up at ankles) I know this is supposed to be skinny jeans, but I could barely get it over my thighs and butt. It sat snug at my waist but I felt like I was stuff in sausage casing - it was not comfy. I went up to a size 14. The length stoped at the top ankles (ugh, why can't I find a length that stops right at my heels..) With this size, it was still very tight at my thighs and butt, but now the waist was way too big. I feel like these pants only go up in hip size and with excess fabric in the tummy area to accommodate for a belly without really taking into consideration bigger thighs, calves, and butts, with smaller waists. ... show more
