I wasn’t fitting well into over-the-belly maternity pants, but found very quickly that unbuttoning my work pants wasn’t going to work either. I purchased these to deal with early pregnancy bloat, and they’ve maintained well for me! I’m currently almost 27 weeks and am now feeling a little bit more pressure than I’d like while sitting in the front, but they’ve also gotten a little tighter through overall weight gain and I’ve just ordered the next size. I have also been wearing leggings underneath them for cold weather at work and while they’re stretching fantastically and comfortably to accommodate, it’s time to size up. I purchased these in size Small at 5’4” and approximately 130 lbs, and am sizing up to a Medium at 150lbs. I’ll be holding tightly to these for postpartum as well! I’ve purchased in multiple colors and couldn’t be happier! Editing review to add: these were awesome postpartum! Comfortable enough to wear after a few weeks healing from c section when I inevitably found my pre-pregnancy pants didn’t fit yet.

I ordered a 16 based on the size chart. However, when I received the jeans, the tag did say 16 but, the measurements were based on a 12. I know my measurements and according to the size chart provided, even with a slight variance (as it did say could happen depending on the cut and color) it would have fit. However, a difference of 4 to 5 inches?? That’s a 2 size difference! Also, the inseam is 2 inches shorter than described. It’s supposed to be a 32 but the tag says 30. The color is perfect, they just don’t fit because it’s two sizes too small and too short despite me ordering the correct size according to my measurements/chart. I need to return which stinks because I needed it for this weekend.

I usually never buy clothes online because I'll never know if they will fit, but I'm so glad I took a chance with these jeans. Amazon was recommending I go with a size small because I typically wear a size 28 (size 6 or 7 in Old Navy), and I'm so glad I went with a medium based on existing reviews and the minimal difference between size small and medium according to the size chart. I'm a runner, just shy of 5'4'', and my pre-pregnancy weight was around 138-139 pounds. I'm now 18 weeks and my weight has only gone up about 4 pounds, but I was desperate to find some maternity jeans as I was getting increasingly uncomfortable from the pressure resting on my lower abdomen, especially when sitting in a car. I normally wear size 28 (size 6 or 7 in some brands like Old Navy). The inseam length of this size medium is perfect. No area on the jeans feels too tight or too loose. I love how high these sit on the hips because it feels like they aren't going to slip down. I expect there may be some minor shrinkage when I wash them so it may feel a little bit tighter post-wash, but they seem stretchy enough to continue feeling comfortable. I think these will also be awesome postpartum jeans. One thing I was concerned about was that the waistband wouldn't be supportive enough, especially as I get closer to the third trimester, but I simply decided to purchase a separate maternity band for extra support and to wear with workout pants or dresses. Overall, this is a great buy and I recommend for any mamas that are feeling uncomfortable!
