As a milennial who grew up in the era of low-rise and skinny jeans, I find it difficult to shop for jeans anymore. Especially post-pandemic, I got so used to casual loungewear that restrictive jeans just feel claustrophobic and uncomfortable now, but I still wanted to find some comfortable jeans to add back to my wardrobe. I hate high rise the aforementioned reasons, so I went for these jeans because of the mid-rise, and anything besides skinny jeans just feels too heavy and uncomfortable now, so I was happy to find these skinny jeans. I worried they might feel too tight though, but they feel just fine on me. I'm 5'4", 128lbs and normally wear a size 4 and these fit perfect on me. Levi Strauss are adorable jeans that last a long time, they're my work jeans. I wouldn't call these skinny they're more between skinny and straight, per how this company makes the pants. The skinny jeans they provide to Walmart have more room in the hips and are slimmer through the legs. These are tight through the hips and looser though the legs. I only ordered them because I need a size 8 long and stores don't carry long/tall anymore. But they are wearable and don't look skin-tight, so I will at least have one pair of nice black jeans to wear to work and interviews. ... show more

These are the BEST pants I have ever bought. I was nervous buying them online since you can't try them on until they are here but Wooowww, 10/10 recommend. Pretty sure these were previously used/washed. When I opened the package i was overwhelmed with the HEAVY smell of fabric softener coming off them. For someone that uses free and clear detergent, this is very disappointing. I've washed them and hung them outside to try and get rid of the overwhelming smell.
