Out of the package the pants are deep black, well made with well paced riveted seams and stitches. No loose threads or defects on two pairs ordered. They are fairly soft, a little thin as I thought they would be for carpenter jeans but great for after work as well. I haven’t used them yet but I expect the brand to last due to prior experience with the line. Genuinely looking forward to using them tomorrow and will post after a week or so for further experience. Super happy so far.

I purchased a 32x32, though I probably should have opted for a 30in waist instead. They still fit with a belt though, and they fit over a pair of work boots nicely, which my previous jeans didn't. I'm a structural welder, and I'm pretty hard on my jeans. After a few weeks, I haven't put any holes in them and they've been comfortable in warm weather and some pretty chilly mornings. The color is lasting well, and despite not being fire resistant officially, I haven't managed to burn any holes in them. The only three things I could wish for would be a slightly tighter hammer loop, a slightly deeper side thigh pocket thing, and the right side coin pocket to simply not be there. The hammer loop is slightly too big in a lot of cases for my minisledge, but it'll hold my chipping hammer just fine. The thigh pocket almost holds rod perfectly, but it's just barely too short to keep them from reliably not falling over and out. And the inner coin pocket on the right hand front pocket is just the right size to catch my phone every time I try to put it in my pocket, but won't go all the way in since it's not the main pocket. Speaking of pockets, the other pockets are all a nice depth and the openings are tight enough to keep stuff in, but not so ridiculously tight it's impossible to reach your hand in to find that one small screw or whatever at the bottom.

Amazon said 3X was my size, they were wrong. I brought 3X they were way to big. I'm 6.1" 230-235lbs. They were just way to big. I ordered a 44/32 way to big. I looked @ the size chart also. I read the review's. These run big, I could have gotten a 2X. I had already warn them, I had long John's under. And I still had to wear a belt. The legs of the Pants are really Whide. I'm just going to give them away. Not going to buy another pair. I don't want that Whide leg. And it's hard to see what size I need. The Jean's are really nice, colors and all. Stitching is Perfect, just a pair of good old jeans. Wish they fit me, delivery was on time. I recommend these Levi Jeans.👍

As other reviews mentioned, these are a bit loose fitting in the legs, but I believe carpenter jeans should be. The material is sturdy and they are comfortable pants. Good purchase.

I bought this pair of pants in October 2023 and it the first week of March 2024 these pants fit so well and are great work pants but sadly they didn't last even 6 months and how they ripped puzzles me cause I was not even working all I did was sit in a chair and they ripped crazy but I wish I was making it up but it happened now I have to look for a different pair of jeans cause the quality of these jeans just isn't there
