This is a beautiful, classic denim shirt that never goes out of style. It features a ruffled neckline and cuffs that add a feminine touch. The long, roomy sleeves extend to the middle of my hands, and the button-up design falls below my hips on my 5'4" frame. I like that it looks equally stylish worn untucked for a casual look or tucked in for a more polished look. I ordered a size Large, and it still fits loose and roomy on my 175 lb. frame, so I recommend referring to the size chart and resisting the urge to size up. The fabric is 85% cotton and 15% polyester, making it breathable, lightweight, and comfortable even in warm weather. Although it is slightly thin and has no stretch, it is exceptionally soft and maintains its shape throughout the day. The fabric feels more like a lightweight chambray than traditional denim. I chose the Bluing color, and I absolutely love it. The shade is rich, vibrant, and very flattering. This shirt is incredibly versatile and pairs well with shorts, leggings, jeans, or skirts. It is perfect for casual daytime activities such as shopping, brunch with friends, or a trip to the park, yet it transitions effortlessly to evening outings like dinner, concerts, or the theater. I've machine washed it in cold water and tumble dried it on low with no noticeable shrinkage or fading. It does wrinkle a bit, but a quick pass with a steamer leaves it looking crisp and neat. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, stylish denim shirt.

I really like this cute denim shirt, even though I need to alter the sleeve length. Love the darker color (bluing) and ruffle detail at collar and sleeves that adds a fresh style twist. I washed it before wearing, and although I can't tell if it shrank at all (I don't think so, but forgot to do a before and after size evaluation), it came out of the dryer without needing any ironing. Yay for that! Fabric is soft but substantial (nice midweight), with a tiny bit of stretch. It has a kind of boxy cut, and can be tucked in or left out – also nice for layering over a tee. I usually wear between a 1x-2x in tops, and the xxl is plenty roomy on me – I might have even sized down and been okay. Problem is the sleeves, which are very long on me (often the case, being 5'1"). They come down to my fingertips and the only solution is to alter, so I guess I'll be dusting off the old sewing machine and giving it a go (it's worth it for this cute top). I suppose if you're taller (with longer arms), the fit will be fine.

This review is for Sidefeel Women’s Button down denim shirt, ruffle sleeve, size Large. I’ve been looking to update my wardrobe and since this shirt has the trendy ruffles on the collar and sleeves I thought I’d give it a try. I like that it is a tried and true denim fabric which never goes out of style. The weight of it is light and thin and combined with the softness it is very comfortable to wear. Better than I expected. The buttons are easy to insert into their holes and I appreciate that because I normally hate buttoning shirts. If I can, I will pull the shirt over my head. But it’s a non issue with this shirt which is nice. The quality is fine. I photographed myself wearing it straight out of the package so it’s a tad wrinkled looking but seems to be ironing itself out just by being worn. I’m 5’5” and 137 pounds and size Large seems to fit me well. At the time of ordering it cost 32.99. That’s probably a fair price but I’m a thrifty bargain hunter on a fixed income so try to buy shirts for less if I can. If you like a casual denim shirt with an updated style, I think you will also like the comfort and ease of buttoning of this. I personally like it and have no complaints.

The good: the dark wash was beautiful, the weight was wonderful (it drapes nicely yet holds some structure), the fit was outstanding and very true to size and the length was great The deal-breaker: the one I received had a flaw in one shoulder seam - the right shoulder seam sat exactly where it should and looked great. The left shoulder seam, however, looked like someone sewed the sleeve into a v cut out of the blouse, making the gathers sit quite noticeably higher than the point of my shoulder. Returning this one and would love a well-made version of it, but I'm a little hesitant to try again.

Perfect chambray top!! This top features high quality , breathable chambray cotton . It’s super soft and feels like a hug from your bff on your skin. It’s light weight, but still has some heft to it as good quality material does. It fits like a dream and hugs where it should and forgives where it should . I’m happy to add this to my wardrobe bc it’s such a cute update on a classic chambray top. It’s super versatile and looks cute with jeans, shorts, over dresses, layered over a white tank or alone . This is a cute button-up denim blouse. I love the ruffles on the collar and cuffs which give it more interest than just a standard button up styled shirt. The fabric is soft and medium weight, but there really isn’t any give to it with its’ 85% cotton, 15 poly mix. Washes well in cold water and I always hang to dry. I have a streamer to get rid of any wrinkles and am good to go! If you see the size charge, you will note the bust and waist is the same size. The sizing in bust area is smaller than the 42.5 that is shown- I am a 36 DD and find bigger sizes look comical on me, but this was more fitted than the measurements described. I think a Small would have been sufficient for me, but went with the recommended Medium instead and am happy with the choice. I liked this tucked in as it is truly a rectangle cut, boxy looking. It looks more polished tucked in with a belt. Can be worn with slacks or a skirt or even as a jacket, to stretch your wardrobe. The stitching is well done and the fabric is a deep blue and consistent all the way around. Happy with this ruffled, denim button down! Can’t wait for cooler weather! Nicely priced as well.

This is a really cute and well-made top! I really enjoyed the color as it is not too dark or not too light of a denim. The material is a medium to lightweight thickness. I absolutely love the detail of the ruffles on the sleeves. I am happy that the sleeve is long enough and not too short. The sleeve stopped right on the wrist bone. I also like the length as it is a perfect length as it is not too long or too short. I normally wear a medium and it fit true to size. The buttons are also made very well and are thick and of good quality. If I had to see anything to critique about this shirt it is a strong chemical smell. It may be the dye or whatever factory materials was used to construct it. So I advise to be sure to wash it before you wear it as you should with most garments. Overall, it is a beautiful top and it is unique and cute. I recommend!

I was disappointed with this denim button-down shirt. The style in the listing photos looks cute and effortless, but the shirt I received doesn’t have the same look when worn. The fit was true to size, but the overall shape wasn’t very flattering because the collar wouldn’t cooperate. In the listing photos, the collar lays open nicely and gives the shirt a relaxed, polished appearance. No matter how I adjusted it, I couldn’t get mine to lay the same way, and it made the shirt look awkward instead of stylish. The material is lightweight and soft, but it doesn’t have the feel of a quality denim shirt. It also arrived with a strong chemical odor that was noticeable as soon as I opened the package. I recommend washing it before wearing, although the smell wasn’t my biggest concern. The stitching was another disappointment. Several seams looked sloppy and uneven, making the shirt feel cheaply constructed. The buttons were attached securely, but the overall workmanship wasn’t what I expected based on the listing. I really wanted to love this shirt because the design in the photos is so cute, but between the chemical smell, poor stitching, lightweight material, and the collar that simply doesn’t lay like it’s shown, it fell short of my expectations.
