I'm 5'6" and 135-140 with a thick waist and narrow hips. I'd normally go for a 6 but based on the waist measurements in the size chart, I sized up to an 8. I shouldn't have! First things first, I really wish I had gotten a 6. It's super stretchy fabric and the 8 is wayyyy too big in the butt/hips (not super surprising but disappointing) and somehow also too big in the waist! (I swear my waist is at least a 29 so the 8 should NOT be big on me.) In addition, if I hike up the waist to my actual natural waist (so the crotch isn't weird and droopy) they are sooooo short on me. I might have very slightly long legs for my height but not crazy long by any means, and I almost never find that pants are too short on me. I know these aren't supposed to be the 7 for All Mankind early '00s Dojo style that literally drags on the ground, but these don't even hit the top of my foot. In the photo, I don't have them hiked up all the way. Overall, I'm bummed because the material is really nice and the style is actually really cute—it's just too baggy up top to be flattering and too short to let me feel comfortable wearing them. Hope it works better for others!

The fit of these is sooooo strange. These aren’t regular wide leg jeans - the legs are wiiiiiiiiiide. Way, way too wide. They aren’t quite high waisted and aren’t quite mid waisted and they’re constantly rolling down. They are soft and stretchy, but in a way that clings to your abdomen in an unflattering way. I’m not a fan.

I was a little surprised when I opened the package. The jeans were tightly rolled into a very small roll and I thought "oh these are going to be super thin and cheap". I was surprised when I unrolled them! They are thinner denim, which I like because it's more comfortable than a very heavy denim. They are super stretchy. I like the high waist and the way the waist is styled, it is really flattering, making my belly look smaller and giving my waist a more hourglass look. The flared bottoms are nice and the length is perfect. They do fit true to size but if you would like a tighter fit you can size down as they are very stretchy. For reference, I am 5'8", 218 lb with ample booty/thighs and a large midsection and got the size 18, normally wear mostly a 16 (or 18 depending on brand) (size 16 Old Navy).

I ordered a 12 becomes I'm right on the border of a 12 and 14 and I'm moving down not up. These jeans fit like they were a size too big. They have a lot of stretch which I was very surprised by since they are button up pants. I wore them all day at work, they were very comfortable. They were great quality and look great. I will definitely buy another pair in another wash, and maybe a size down.
