I have ordered over 10 Side by Side Plus Book 3 from Amazon and the service has been excellent. The books were delivered without a scratch and Amazon notified me and kept me informed when I had to wait longer then expected. I totally recommend ordering ESOL textbooks through them. The books are great as a way to initiate conversations in ESOL-based classes. The test prep section is absolutely useful in helping students prepare for exams. I recommend using Side by Side Plus as an additional resource material if the main student textbook is grammar-based and lacking in conversational exercises. Overall, my students love it and they demanded we continue using Side by Side Plus for the following semester. I say, if the students are happy and learning English communicatively, I am happy too!

This is a fantastic book for the new ESL student to learn the basic words and simple sentence structure for every day needs. It also builds on a scaffolding type of learning process where they can actually hear and see their progress interacting with one another as well as with native English speakers. and see their improvement from day to day not only with the spoken language, and also being able to write simple sentences. With grammatical structure as taught. I love it when that light of understanding turns on in their eyes and their self confidence soars to new heights!!

I was looking for the same edition of Side By Side 1 so my student could have her own copy. There are several different levels and several different editions, so I was happy to find the same one that I have. It didn't come up in the search at first. I had to actually put in the ISBN number, but then a copy was found.

Great because it is a Plus book with extra tests and readings. Very comprehensive and includes great Listening Comprehension and even Writing exercises. I love the Side by Side series at all levels.
