Features

  • SHOEI NEOTEC II - Experience the Versatility.
  • When SHOEI first introduced the NEOTEC in 2011, riders worldwide realized not all modular helmets were created equal.
  • With its lightweight, highly-aerodynamic shell, advanced noise reduction, and optimal vision protection, all combined with an ease of use (critical to a modular helmet), SHOEI had indeed achieved new heights in head gear design.
  • But that was just the beginning.
  • Now, with the NEOTEC II, SHOEI has not only improved on already outstanding features, but also introduced design advances to bring their premiere modular design into a whole new era.

  • Nice quality. Good looks. Excellent features.
Size: XX-Large Color: Matte Blue Metallic
Good looking helmet loaded with features. Ready for communications, Pin lock included, good fit, love the matte blue finish. Not cheap, but highly if not top rated everywhere I saw it reviewed.

  • LOVE MY NEW NEOTEC 2 !!
Very comfortable helmet. Coming from a full face sedici which isn’t bad (300$) but immediately after putting this on at cycle gear I knew I had to purchase. They didn’t have the athracite in small which is why I bought here. I also hooked it up with a cardo freecom which rocks !!

  • Worth every penny
Size: Large Color: Matte Blue Metallic
I’ve just got back into motorcycle touring after about two decades off. I’ve had to balance saving money with spending money on the right things. I started with a $150 Bilt modular that was ok but is that really where you want to skimp? No it’s not and once I put this helmet on and rode with it, I knew I made the right choice. I ride in the PNW so fogging has been an issue but not with this helmet, the vents work extremely well. The fit is good but a bit snug around my face but the more I wear it the more it conforms with the shape of my head. This is a solid helmet and I recommend it. ... show more

  • Fantastic Helmet!
Size: Large Color: Anthracite Metallic
Overall this is a awesome helmet. Of course I made my purchase in November in west Michigan so it's a little hard to judge the ventilation, but I have rode with it open and I can tell that it is better than my Shoei GT Air. I wear a size large and this fits great! I have one other modular helmet from another manufacturer and the the Neotec II is more comfortable and quite than that one. The appearance of the Metallic Anthracite is beautiful. This is the first helmet that I have owned without D rings and I have to play around with the adjustment a little as I seem to feel the buckle on my neck. If I were to have a complaint it would be that and the fact that it is on the pricey side, oh and that I have been looking at the Neotec II for several months and never see them on sale. ... show more

  • Sizing chart is spot on.
Size: Large Color: Black
The helmet is awesome. Every aspect shoei claims is true. The only flaw however is the sizing which is no fault of shoei’s. It’s a fault of those who do not know how a helmet should fit when new. I was on the top end of the medium size range in the chart so I bumped up to a large as other reviews I read said it was the thing to do as they claimed the sizes ran small. They were wrong. A helmet needs to fit pretty snug when new. The internal padding will get smashed down over time and a helmet that fits perfect when brand new will end up being too big shortly down the road and will not be able to properly protect you in case of an accident. My advice would be to purchase whatever size the chart says you are after measuring your head. Shoei has it figured out. ... show more

  • Well made Japanese helmet
Size: Large Color: Matte Black
This is my 3rd Shoei Neotech and it packed with lots of features. A built-in flip up sun visor, Pin lock anti-fog lens, air ventilation tunnel on top and near the bottom of the visor, quick connect strap, and it's modular. The entire front of the helmet completely opens up to get more fresh air at a signal light or to talk to someone easier. I love these helmets. They're hand-made in Japan. I have one complaint. This helmet for some reason has a high pitched whistle noise on the freeway and I cannot figure out why. My 2 other Shoei helmets didn't have that noise. Even when my visor and vents are completely closed, I still get that whistling noise. ☹️ I'm not going to return the helmet, it's just an annoyance I'm going to live with. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Size: XX-Large Color: Matte Blue Metallic
I have a very large head (63mm) and the 2XL fit me...barely. It is quite comfortable. The quality is obviously high. Everything is well thought out. The pin lock worked perfectly in preventing fogging. I love the chin strap connection after using D rings only in the past. I ride a standard (retro) bike with no fairings, and while the wind noise is noticeable, it is not annoying. There is almost no buffeting. People talk about feeling the air flow through the upper vent, but I never noticed it much. Is it worth the $750 cost? I guess I'd say yes. It is expensive, but in my opinion is the best modular (non carbon fiber) helmet. And I'm worth it! ... show more
