I ordered a 56” for my draft cross mare who has put on some extra pounds over the years. Prior to this we were riding our CC english saddle with a western cinch set up because we couldn’t find a big enough girth. Since switching to this I can already tell she is much happier and more comfortable! The elastic and fleece on English girths really is superior to the western rigging when it comes to comfort. Looks to be of quality construction, my only complaint so far is that the fleece is pink. Like cotton candy pink, which looks very pink on my black horse. No mention of it being pink in the description or in the listing picture. I would have never ordered it knowing the fleece was pink but I need the strap right now so I can’t return it. ... show more

Excellent quality for the price! Only girth I could find that would fit my giant horse, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised! The color is darker than the pictures which I was happy about! Only thing is that the inside of the girth had a melted nylon bit that rubbed near the buckles, but I clipped that with a razor blade and all is well! ... show more

This runs about an inch smaller brand new and seems even smaller than that. Was not able to get it to fit with my saddle and horses so returned it. That being said it seems like a very well made fleece girth.
