So I’m at this really weird place with my body; a large is sometimes too tight, but the XL is too big. I’m a curvy girl, but I’m short with short legs, arms and torso. With that being said, this XL didn’t hug the places it should and the stomach cutout part did a strange thing, it was showing almost my entire side lol.     • Weird seam in the middle WAY more noticeable in person
I got both a small and a medium, and they both fit ok, BUT the seam going down the center part of the top was more noticeable than the pictures online make it out to be. I felt like the seam made it look like I was wearing the dress wrong, and I had to double-check that I actually was wearing it right, especially with how different the pattern is! That said, it’s a weird detail to call out, but it makes the dress look like you’re wearing it in a different way than it’s supposed to be worn because it’s such a noticeable seam. I returned both of them because I felt like it would call attention to the asymmetrical look in the wrong way, drawing attention to the construction of the garment itself rather than the style of the outfit overall. ... show more

I used a ton of body tape to make sure I didn't have any unfortunate wardrobe malfunctions. I pulled it where I wanted it and used body tape to secure. Fit as expected. I ordered both an xsmall and small and ended up going with the xs only because I have an incredibly small rib cage (28 band bra). The small wasn't bad at all but the snugness of the xs made it easier to tape down without any puckering anywhere. I could have done either size no problem. I wore this to a nightclub on NYE in Montreal and danced all night long! It held up in the wash and actually accidentally got washed twice and held up fine. Line dried it so I can't say much about how it'd do in the dryer. ... show more

The dress is not of a good quality. It’s super think and not stretchy like pictured. It’s also not made to wear it the way it is on the model as it doesn’t cover much, you will have to turn it around to make it look decent. It’s a nice dress but not what I expected. Well, you get what you pay for!

I have purchased this exact same dress from shein for a 1/4 of the price and the one from shein was thicker and held everything together (it was just too small for the girlies up top). I ordered this hoping it’s the same thick fabric just a size up - this is the most sheer and loose piece of fabric I have seen in a dress. Can’t even get away with pasties. Great Material , fits perfect on my body . Im 5’3” and i weigh 186 , i grabbed a large. Somebody said if you have big boobs dont get it, well mine are 34 DDD and they held nicely with tape but also without tape . Does rise if your thighs are a big bigger but not too much.
