There was an irregular weave to the product. They appeared to have runs but did not, just gaps in the weave. On day 2 of wearing them they ripped in several places in the crotch area. These tights were comfortable but the quality was poor and they were not durable.

Tights were not firm they were tourniquets—that snagged easily! Hated them. But even worse was returning. Turns out the co. Is in Montreal. We had to get a custom claim form. Then the postage was $16.95. I felt tricked by the whole purchase. Oh, btw, I bought a size larger than my weight class suggested and they still were unbearably tight.

I wore tights and hosiery with business suits and dresses for most of my adult life. I hated how my fingernails could start a run or poke a hole in my tights that would make them useless. These are a little more expensive than those I commonly purchased, but weeks of wear and washings and they still look brand new.

Pretty comfy and a good midpoint between sheer and opaque. The “shorts” give you some extra coverage, although they peak out from most of my mini skirts. They are very high though—I am 5’1” wearing a size small, and they reach above my belly button. I love a good high rise, but these are higher than any skirt I own, and I can’t wear a crop top with these without rolling the waistband down. In terms of durability, because that’s why you’re buying Sheertex: if you’re expecting indestructible miracle tights, these aren’t it (I don’t think those will ever exist). These will snag on things and tiny holes will develop. However, despite a few snags after the first few wears, they never ran (i.e., got bigger and ripped through the tight vertically). I’ve worn these to work (I’m on my feet all day) at least 10 times in the last 2 months, washing them every 2-3 wears, and they’ve held up much better than any tight I’ve ever owned. Again, they’re not perfect, and when I snagged them on my first wear after dropping $35 on them, my heart broke. But the cost per wear ($35 for 10+ wears and going) is much better than spending $5-$10 on a pair that will rip in a day. I definitely don’t see these lasting forever, but one pair could easily last you through a fall/winter season to be replaced the following year.
