    • I can smell this lovely scent from outside the bathroom!
Honestly- I'm a very hard critic when it comes to this stuff for my toddler. We've been through multiple tries of bath washes... some very natural, some very unnatural... the verdict is IN. This is by far the best bath wash/shampoo we have used for her. At only two years old, her silky soft beautiful golden hair was getting really dry and even breaking! I was like- whoa... she is way too young for that to be happening already! I better make a change and get something high quality to stop this right away. After reading reviews (and ingredients) on this, I ordered it. Received it just this morning- right in time for this evening's bath. I cannot even believe that after one bath with this soap, the gleam and softness in my daughters hair suddenly returned! Usually lately once her hair dries after a bath, we're looking at kind of puffy and dried looking hair. Something I'm just not used to, as it happened so suddenly! Tonight was like returning her hair to it's former shape. It dried and it was like shiny, smooth golden locks. Gorgeous.     • Absolutely love this body wash for our children!
This is the only body wash and shampoo that we use now. I prefer to use cruelty free products in my home as much as I can and love that Shea Moisture is one of those reliable products. The scent of this wash is mild, clean and calming from the essential oils used. A little of this wash goes a long way so this will last you quite a while. I think we order about every 4-5 months, if not longer. I have also purchased this for a few of our friends as gifts for their babies. We live in a dry area and it really helps to have wash that does not dry out my kid's skin. More great information about this wash: No parabens or phthalates, no sulfates, no mineral oils and no synthetic fragrances. My kids don't particularly have sensitive skin, but I would think this would be ok to use on sensitive skin. ... show more

    • Excellent for sensitive, rash-prone baby skin
This is the only baby wash I'm going to use on my son. I was looking for something without all of the harsh preservatives and other nasty ingredients, and also a soap that wouldn't irritate his sensitive skin. I tried Burt's, but something in their soaps and lotions give him a rash. I think it's probably the fragrances they use, or maybe all of the herbal extracts. Shea Moisture Baby Wash, however, cleared up the rash he had, and the matching lotion is great, too. The smell takes some getting used to. Honestly, at first I thought it smelled like cheap vanilla body spray, but after a while it just began to smell like a sweet baby scent to me. The lotion smells better, too, so that helps.     • Amazing product, not tear-free
We LOVE Shea moisture products, but the wash isn't tear free. We very carefully finished the bottle because it's my favorite for my kiddos, but I didn't replace because of how much it hurts in the eyes. Would definitely buy again when the kids are older and can keep soap outbof their eyes. Amazing smell, clean feeling after rinsing, and in my opinion clean ingredients. ... show more

    • So if you have the lighter one...
I did speak to a representative for the company to discuss the situation of there being varying colors, as well as some of the negative experiences I’ve read with the lighter one. They, as well as the website, noted that there will be variations in color because of the natural ingredients. But a negative experience they will take seriously. If any of you out there have the lighter one and notice something different call them and they will send you a return sticker, give them the LOT#, and then send it back once you receive the return sticker. They will then evaluate the batch you have obtained, start a case and get back to you. And I do think they will. But they have NOT changed the product. Variation in color is normal because of the natural ingredients. They did not inform me if they have changed suppliers, and if that is the case, enough complaints will make them reconsider. However, I have a batch that was made at the end of last year, and that one is dark. My personal experience is that I’ve purchased this at the store, and on the shelf I’ve even seen a variation in the color. I’ve also ordered on here and there’s been a variation of the color from one bottle to the next. The darker variation is what I’ve always had in the past. My experience has been that the lighter variation for some reason is only slightly different, it doesn’t smell as strong, but that’s about it. I think that might be the problem that people are experiencing, thinking they are receiving a fake product or “watered down”. This may or not be the case, either way, please report it. And no, I do not work for the company. Otherwise, this is the only shampoo I’ve used for over 2 years on my LO. He has eczema and can’t tolerate much, but for some reason this one has worked. It could be the ingredients of frankincense and myrrh, who knows. Unfortunately, I can’t find it anywhere but Amazon anymore. I’d definitely recommend otherwise. ... show more

    • Great shampoo for my baby
I was looking for something more than just Johnson and Johnson for my baby's hair. He has the softest curls and I wanted something moisturizing. Shea moisture is a good company and the products are fabulous. I love the smell, not overpowering. Be aware, because some people said they got a watered down looking version on here. I was reluctant to buy off here for that reason, but my product was great! Will buy again. ... show more

I’m your brother from another mother. Dark skin and in need of moisturized chocolate skin. :) This oil is just right. A light scent, absorbs well after a hot shower-and makes the ladies you pass by (wearing your mask of course) turn and ask “what’s that your wearing?” Really good stuff man! And yes...I keep this oil in rotation throughout the year. From New York City climate changes to the Caribbean-this is my go to massage oil and after showers moisturizer. No ash. ... show more
