I ordered a small, then returned for medium. I’m a petite woman, i have had two kids, so i have a little pooch in the mom areas [belly, bust ]. I wear a 32G bra( measuring 28 under-bust and 34 bust), my waist is 27”. So i thought a small would be perfect since i wanted a tighter fit. And normally small is still big. I was wrong. The small was like an XXS. It was suffocating and almost sickening tight. The medium is still tight but comfortable. Keeps the boobs in place, still bouncy but comfortable. Downside- the sticker leaves a residue on the front. Rubbing alcohol on a paper towel seems to have worked. Im currently washing it, so will update after it’s been dried ... show more

    • VERY Comfortable But Not the Miracle The Hype Makes it Out to Be

So I haven't used any kind of shapewear since I was in high school (I am now 44 years old). And while I'm fine with my body shape, there are certain pairs of pants that fit a little more snuggly and cause a bit more of a muffin top. I had resisted getting a shapermint garment mostly because of the price. With a birthday gift certificate under my belt, I decided that now was a good time for me to give them a whirl, and I'm glad that I did. I am about 5'6"~5'7" and 295 lbs and wear a 3xl or a size 24, so I went with a 4XL. If I wanted some actual serious suck and tuck action, I probably could have gotten away with a 3XL, but as this was my first shape wear garment in a long time, I went with the posted size recommendation. The cami is COMFORTABLE, and while it doesn't take the rolls away completely (like the commercials and reels I've seen) it DOES make my jeans fit more comfortably and reduces the muffin top a bit. I have to wear this over a bra because it doesn't offer enough support for someone with my bustline, and I'm not sure that a 3xl would be comfortable over an underwire. (Yes I'm aware that they have a wireless bra atm) I'm top heavy (44DD-E) and while the reels show women who aren't wearing a bra with this I will say that this top does NOT offer enough support for a super top heavy gal to get the kind of lift and support needed for everyday wear. But! It offers enough that if I didn't feel like getting full out dressed to go to the store, I would feel comfortable walking out of my house without a bra on if I was wearing this. It's a great stabalizer. The one I got was black and went well down past my hips (which is exactly where I like my camis and tank tops to fall) and I wore it over light colored bra and panties and got NO show-through. All in all I don't regret buying this cami at all (I'm a little upset that just AFTER I bought it there was a 3 for 2 sale but oh well), but I probably wouldn't invest too much more in other shapermint products. MAYBE a full body suit for when I'm wearing something formal, but I'm a little too big for a lot of the products they offer, which is a little disappointing, but understandable. All in all a decent and comfortable product that I had NO problems getting into (even with my lower back arthritis) and something that I would probably recommend to friends, though I'll confess it's not as miraculous as the reels and hype make it out to be. The way the reels were telling it, I hoped for a little big more of a smoothing effect. If I went for a smaller size, I might have gotten that, but I'm not entirely confident that I would still be as comfortable as I am in the size that I got. ... show more

After being influenced by Instagram ads, I decided to take the plunge and buy one of these for an upcoming event. They’re incredibly comfortable, and to my surprise all of the reviews I had read that stated how supportive the hold on the chest is were correct. If I wanted to, I could easily wear this without a bra, which is something I never feel comfortable doing. Unfortunately, however, the sizing chart that is provided is incorrect. This is odd, because the shapermint website also has the same sizing chart as Amazon, but it’s not the sizing chart that is provided on the physical tag for the item straight from shapermint I followed the suggestions of the sizing chart and ordered an extra large. When it arrived, however, the sizing chart on the physical tag indicated that I should be a medium, or possibly a large. As a result, while it fit comfortably around the chest and torso, there was far too much material, and it was far too long. When I tried it under jeans, the material went down to mid thigh and going past the crotch of the pants. I think had the sizing been correct and I ordered a medium or large, the length of the material would probably not have been an issue. I’m not sure if perhaps this is a different version of their cami, or if they updated the sizing chart for the tags, but forgot to update the charts provided online. I have been losing weight and can now fit back into some of my pre-pandemic jeans, but they are a bit snug and I end up with a slight muffin top. This helps smooth that out so I look and feel great back in my favorite jeans!! I bought a size up as some reviewers recommended and it fit well. A bit challenging to get on at first, but easy enough once I figured it out. It is super comfortable and very breathable! I hardly notice I have it on! Made from quality fabric. Super flattering, stays put and doesn’t bunch up. It does sometimes roll at the bottom if I’m not extra careful to make sure it is on smoothly. Highly recommend! ... show more

I had a couple of these directly from Shapermint and decided I wanted a few more colors. Found it was cheaper to get through Amazon than directly through Shapermint. These camis are great because they stay flat on the skin under shirts whereas others have buckled on me, and they feel really nice on because of the fabric. I like that they don't have a shelf bra because those just seem to get in the way for me, and that the straps are adjustable. They do smooth out your days and rolls but they do not suck you in depending on what you are looking for. I also find as a C cup that I still prefer to wear a bra with them although they are designed to not have to. ... show more
