Update: I have now purchased 4 sets! These are fabulous! They wash up well and I'll be tossing all my regular undies now because these are comfortable and great for every day wear!! One thing I would like is more color options. It would be nice to be able to buy a set of 3 in the same color. Bought one set to try because of the mixed reviews. I just ordered my second three pack! At nearly 64, I'm experiencing mild incontinence for the first time. I had no idea how common it is and wasn't quite sure what to do. MDs have prescribed 3 different medications with very little results. Short of buying pads or adult diapers, I was at a loss. I ordered 2 pairs of the expensive ones you see commercials on and they worked! Obviously I needed more so went on a hunt here and gave these a try! They work every bit as well! The colors are great and they fit nicely. As others have pointed out, the lace sides do not ride high on the hip as I would prefer but they fit nicely across the hip for when I wear low cut pants so they work great for me! If these hold up as well as it appears they will, I'll definitely be buying more!

I haven't gotten to test the absorbacy yet, but they feel similar to other pairs I have from other brands that work well. I read to size up, and I should not have. These are a little baggy, which obviously could cause leakage. However, I have never had a thong period panty because I question the fit and absorbacy, so I plan to only use these for light flow days when I don't want panty lines from the brief style pairs I have from other brands. They are comfortable though (as far as period panties go). I'll update this is I have absorbance issues once I wear them.

Plus sides: Purple/lavender color is a lovely pastel. Fabric of gusset (main portion of the thong) feels high quality and effective as a menstrual panty. Clearly this thong is made to sit lower at the waist than typical thongs out on the market - below the waist, really. Most thongs for me sit just above the pelvis, which helps to hold them in place. But, for me this thong sits *below* the top ridge of the pelvic bone. Lace sides are extremely loose and stretchy, which allows it to sit at a lower, wider place and lace stretches around the pelvis. Short gusset also contributes to low "waist". So far, I don't find this particularly comfortable, and your guess is as good as mine when it comes to how long such a super stretchy lace will last. However, I could easily see that if someone deals with severe abdominal distention with adenomyosis, fibroids, or endometriosis (aka "endo belly"), or otherwise has an extensive surgical history which makes pressure around the pelvic area painful, I imagine this type of fit could be useful. I'd recommend buying one first, see if you like the fit before buying additionals. I haven't decided yet myself. Size references: I ordered a Small. I'm 5'8", 138 lbs, professional athlete.

I bought these primarily to wear to the gym, unless I'm bleeding unusually heavily these are absorbent enough for a few hours of training (I'm a competitive athlete, I lift very heavy and train hard). For me, these were completely true to size - I'm hourglass shaped 26" waist 36" hips and purchased a small. They're comfortable and don't show pantylines in leggings. I prefer these to some of my other period panties because the absorbent portion of gusset is cut high, I've bled over the top of the absorbent portion of some of my more expensive Thinx panties.

No exaggeration, I live in these things. They're comfortable, durable, and do what they're supposed to. Seriously, my last flight, I was caught off guard and these were a LIFE SAVER! They are rarely overwhelmed, (no leaks.) Probably over 50 washes at this point, maybe 5 months or so, going strong. I'll keep ordering them to replace decommissioned pairs. They're all a tad pricy, so it's even more important they last. The lace is impressively resilient. It stands up to washer and drier, my nails, snags, etc., and still lays flat and fits well. I wasn't paid for this or given anything for free--wouldn't that be a nice gig, lol. They're honestly a great product I can't live without. (I have read about the forever-chemical accusations for different manufacturers. Admittedly, it crosses my mind occasionally. You have to decide for yourself, convenience vs risk. I wish I felt they were 100% safe, but can't make that claim.) If you're at all between sizes, order up.

Panties do not fit as pictured. I wear a size 4 pants so I bought medium. They barely go above the curve of my hips in back and 3 inches up in the front, the lace fits snuggly to my hips. When wearing the panties, they feel as if they’re falling off because the lace can’t hold them up. I will not buy these again. A small would be too small and the medium size does not fit right.
