This purchase was amazing. I needed it to make a Halloween costume for my cat. He was going to be oogie boogie I didn’t use it as a sack but I did play around with it when I opened it. Definitely great if you’re packing potatoes or even using it as a sack race great quality, nice and thick.

Using for Sam’s bag in Trick R Treat. You do have to steam out the wrinkles. I also suggest leaving the bag outside overnight to get rid of the smell

I bought this to use at our local neighborhood park slide, which is a bit worn and kind of slow for my kids. I just hand this sack up to them, they spread it flat and sit on it, and they zip right down with less friction and no shoe catching! Seems to do the trick—fun for them and our neighbors! Only downside is fresh out of the package it has a strong chemical smell to it. Almost like turpentine. I suspect it will air out.

This was exactly what I was expecting. I've read other reviews that downrate them because they aren't warm, but this is a burlap sack that is designed to let air through. It's just like a burlap sack should be. Great for gardening or anything you need a natural sack for. Small issue with delivery meant not all were delivered, but contacted seller and they sent the balance of the order out immediately. I've used these guys for various rope orders before and will continue to buy from them based on their excellent customer service.

I grew up on dairy farm and used many burlap bags aka "gunny sacks". These were used to store freshly ground grain. These bags have the same quality and size of those I used back in the day ie the 50's /60's. Even the smell is the same. Yes, it has a slight chemical scent but that's OK. I plan to use them for potato storage. The thread weave is strong and the seams look to be sewed very tight. Pro rated if I use them for ten years it comes to $.38 per year. Great value for this size bag.....

I hoped these would hold up better for keeping my fish fresh while kayak fishing. I have had much better ones in the past that would hold up while wet.
