    • Sits differently than most thongs
Size: Small Color: Purple-1pack
Plus sides: Purple/lavender color is a lovely pastel. Fabric of gusset (main portion of the thong) feels high quality and effective as a menstrual panty. Clearly this thong is made to sit lower at the waist than typical thongs out on the market - below the waist, really. Most thongs for me sit just above the pelvis, which helps to hold them in place. But, for me this thong sits *below* the top ridge of the pelvic bone. Lace sides are extremely loose and stretchy, which allows it to sit at a lower, wider place and lace stretches around the pelvis. Short gusset also contributes to low "waist". So far, I don't find this particularly comfortable, and your guess is as good as mine when it comes to how long such a super stretchy lace will last. However, I could easily see that if someone deals with severe abdominal distention with adenomyosis, fibroids, or endometriosis (aka "endo belly"), or otherwise has an extensive surgical history which makes pressure around the pelvic area painful, I imagine this type of fit could be useful. I'd recommend buying one first, see if you like the fit before buying additionals. I haven't decided yet myself. Size references: I ordered a Small. Wasn’t sure how leakproof thong underwear would actually work, but these totally surprised me. They’re sexy, comfortable, and actually do the job. The coverage is right where you need it, but you still get that minimal look — no bulky lines or extra padding. I love that I can wear them with anything, feel confident, and no one knows they’re leakproof. The length of the thong is like 2 inches too short, doesn’t cover my whole crack. Second brand of period panties that are too short. What is the deal?? The waist band is fine but the length is not right. I was so hopeful for these ones.

First, they work great for spotting or as a backup, I would never use as my sole solution for a full on period. But being in the peri stage of my life, they work great and I like having a sexier bikini option than the full on granny panties. However, this is the second set I've purchased from the same link/seller and same size but they elastic waistband on this latest purchase isn't as good as the originals. The waistband is flimsier so they fall down. I wish I could say it's because I've lost weight, but the originals, which I've had for over a year, are still fine after many washings even. They appear to be the same size when I put them on top of the originals, but not when worn. I don't know if there was just a bad batch or if the quality has gone down. I'm not sure I would purchase these specific ones again because of this. ... show more

Update: I have now purchased 4 sets! These are fabulous! They wash up well and I'll be tossing all my regular undies now because these are comfortable and great for every day wear!! One thing I would like is more color options. It would be nice to be able to buy a set of 3 in the same color. Bought one set to try because of the mixed reviews. I just ordered my second three pack! At nearly 64, I'm experiencing mild incontinence for the first time. I had no idea how common it is and wasn't quite sure what to do. MDs have prescribed 3 different medications with very little results. Short of buying pads or adult diapers, I was at a loss. I ordered 2 pairs of the expensive ones you see commercials on and they worked! Obviously I needed more so went on a hunt here and gave these a try! They work every bit as well! The colors are great and they fit nicely. As others have pointed out, the lace sides do not ride high on the hip as I would prefer but they fit nicely across the hip for when I wear low cut pants so they work great for me!
