Bought the 55" wide desk because it was the perfect width for the area it was going in. For starters, the desk is really easy to put together. The full size mouse pad which covers the entire desk is a nice added bonus. It's a cloth type material mouse pad. The surface of the desk A.K.A the top comes in two pieces and made out of particle board. Which is then laminated with a carbon fiber type look. I highly recommend using the full size mouse pad on the desk. As that will keep you from wearing through the laminated top. As for the dual monitor stand it mounts on the back edge of the desk. The dual monitor stand supports up to 27" monitors by the way. I can see included dual monitor stand holding monitors up to 10 pounds. I don't think the dual monitor stand will hold monitors that are more than 10 pounds in weight. Perhaps if you got he-man strength you can tighten the bolts down. Enough to keep the monitor from tilting down by itself. I really like my new desk as it gives me plenty of desk space. I would recommend this desk if anyone is looking for a computer desk. If anything else rises OR I think of anything else to add I will make sure to edit this review. ... show more

My only gripe with the desk itself, and it is a very small one, is that the forward edge is curved, not straight like in back. The desk is wide enough and deep enough to comfortably support both work and gaming. The full-desk mat is well made and has survived a few trips through the washing machine with no problems. I only just (after three years) set up the monitor arm. My 27-inch monitor may be a tad heavy as I'm having trouble tightening the screws enough to keep the monitors from tipping forward slightly. )I'm still tweaking.) The arms are wide enough that they can accommodate larger screens and adjustable enough that I could bring mine together to eliminate the gap between them. ... show more

I have had this desk for about four months. It has limited to no wobble to it depending on your aggressiveness. I have it placed on a hard vinyl floor, so don’t know how it would be on carpet, but it is acceptably stable for me. It was quite easy to put together. The full surface mouse pad mat is really nice. The added cup holders and things are situational use in my opinion. The two cable routing holes are useful. Overall, I’m quite happy with it, considering I expected it to be flimsy or cheap. First thing to know this is a two piece desk split in the middle. It has metal square tube that helps keep the two halves together and a joiner bracket in the middle that holds it all together. This is a Partical board material commonly found in store bought cabinetry (So try not to spill anything on it). It has a carbon fiber laminate on the top and bottom. Approximatly 3/8" to 1/2" thick (9.53mm to 12.7mm) Table height is approximately 28" tall (71.5cm) This is not a desk for heavy monitors. Also not recommended to put your desktop on top of the desk. It does come with a deskmat for the entire desk surface The decals on the legs you see in the picture are in the package but not on the legs, so you can choose to put them on or not.
