As soon as I saw this Cozy Cabin Designs Set of 3 Wooden Crates I loved the look ! The wood is stained, looks a little gray and white , however, what really makes these crates look so cool is the matte black hardware. These not only gives these crates a “bespoke” look but add to the stability. I wanted these for my laundry room and I think it looks great , so nice and tidy . Instead of having to pick up every single thing I now get my dusting done in record timing . These crates all have protective soft stickers on the bottom, I can slide them and not worry about scratching my surfaces. I love not only the look but also the versatility of these crates. Every size is usable, the wood is smooth , they could have done a better job smoothing the inside of the handle holes but that is my only issue. These crates are going to look great with so many different designs, the matte hardware makes them look minimalistic, yet they still look rustic with a modern twist . I can imagine the crates looking awesome in so many different scenarios from closets to bathrooms, patio etc. Alone or together. I love these baskets ! ... show more

These boxes are great. I love the color and the style and they fit into my decor which is Industrial/Rustic Farmhouse. I have not figured out where I will be using them. They would look good no matter where I put them in my house. Although I did not notice any odor as mentioned by another review, I did notice paint residue that came off in my hands. Almost like chalk. I am not concerned about it because I'm not planning on rubbing them, however, if it does become an issue, I will probably spray them with a flat, water based poly to seal them. These boxes seem to be made really well. They are strong, durable and aesthetically pleasing. Thus far, I am very happy with them and I don't see any problems. I definitely recommend to others. Once I figure out how I am going to use them in my home, I'll update with more pics. ... show more

These Cozy Cabin Designs wooden nesting crates seem to be sturdy, with metal reinforced corners and protective foam feet on the bottom of the crates. However, the white wash finish is not the best and white residue appears with anything in contact with it, including your hands. I tried wiping it down with a wet wash cloth and the white finish just come right off. Another problem is the sizing of the crates. I thought it would be large enough to display my cookbooks. Unfortunately, it is too small both in depth and width. This is by no means fault of the manufacturer. I should have looked at the dimension more carefully. Another problem is with stacking these crates on top of each other. The metal reinforced corners make stacking them unstable, as the surfaces are no longer flat. I think I'll be using this crates for storage instead I'll consider repainting them as well to get rid of the white residues on the finish. ... show more

I am in the process of purging/cleaning/organizing and have been keeping an eye out for cute but effective storage modes. These fit the bill! They're not terribly big, and they can be stored when empty inside each other to save space. They're stackable when you utilize them in that manner, and they blend in well with any decor. I wasn't sure what to think of these are first but they work. They do not look bad. The hardboard base seems to be glued it and that works will. They are strong and look good in any setting. While up close they will not fool anyone. From a distance they work. The are strong enough to actually use as a creat and decorative enough to look good. I really like them; EDIT The white paint comes off on everything. Hands fingers tables. Not cool ... show more

What a great set of decorative or useful crates. The quality is very good. No splinters from them but still look very rustic. These crates are each nice sizes to hold quite a bit of things like towels for example. Stack them for decorations, they look very farmhouse style. A great price point for what you’re getting. Very nice decorative crates. They appear to be well made and will last a long time if taken care of. Would look great in any room of the house and can bring some organization to areas of the home that may be cluttered.
