I've got a Cub Cadet LTX-1050 lawn tractor, came with 20 x 8 x 8 Sq Shoulder tires, standard for almost all larger lawn tractors. I've always bemoaned the fact that I had too little ground clearance, and the mower got stuck or hung up in SO many places. These tires lift the entire tractor up, allows to set a higher cutting height, and prevents the mower deck hanging up in so many places. For the first time since I've owned this tractor, I set the mowing height DOWN two notches, and got a better cut. As for getting stuck in mud - maybe. I mean, people can actually get D9 bulldozers stuck. But these tires seem to have a lot of grip, and haven't spun a single time since I put them on. If you have a mower with 20" tires on 8" wheels, do yourself a favor, and buy these! These tires are a bit wider, as well, but I have plenty of room for that! (don't forget to upgrade your front tires too!) I changed these tires at home, with hand tools. They ARE a bit of work, but not impossible for a working man! ... show more

Nice tires. I have an old Honda 200cc four wheeler and the rear tires were old and cracked all over the place. These tires were an inch wider and 6 ply but were the closest I could find and tubeless. I thought I could change them with simple tools and some small tire irons I purchased at Amazon. After a lot of struggle, I got the old tires off and one side of one new tire on the rim. Then I got smart and went to a local farm machinery store and they mounted them in 15 minutes. My grandson is now back on the four wheeler with enough traction to get through lots of mud. ... show more
