These are larger than the actual currency. The 1/2 dollar is the size of a silver dollar in diameter $ the quarter almost the size of the 1/2 dollar. The detail of embossing is slightly lost versus the quarter being much more prominent. I used these for CNY so as one knows the currency has meaning so the gold wrapping although a little difficult to remove is a bonus for gifting. 9 solid pieces tasted like Easter bunny chocolate. Opened & used 8 for even # luck. Considering these are seasonal for holidays & not in stores the price was reasonable.
