    • Returned my Ridge and got this

I tried the Ridge Wallet and decided it was to much fumbling around to get the card you wanted out and you had to take all the money out and refold it every time to put it back in. Ridge wasn't exactly thin either. I keep my FOB with One key with my wallet and the key was banging into the hard Ridge wallet. This Serman is made for 7 cards with no doubling up and one of those 7 are behind a clear window for an ID. It's not easy getting that card out of the clear slot. So I put my BJ's card (like Sam's club or Costco) in that slot so it can be scanned from my wallet. Lately, many places want you to take your license out of your wallet if they want to see it, so the window for that is useless for a license. So I stuck my license in a regular slot (inside). I doubled up one card for a total of 8, and it's not too tight. Now my wife says, I need to "fix" my wallet, hers it like a boat anchor. She never liked the Ridge but thought this was really nice. I didn't realize the money clip can be clicked "opened". That seems a little over kill. The Clip also has a very large bend at the end that could be shallower and allow the wallet to be thinner. That clip end (whales tail) lands on the thickest part of the wallet (top of credit card slots) and makes the wallet unnecessarily thicker. Especially where the clip "opens" the clip could be straight and it would still work and be more out of the way when folded. So many other wallets have the push up slot for your thumb in the leather that ripped. Which is why I chose this wallet over many look-a-likes because they did not do that here. Took a long time hunting on Amazon to find the right one. This feels better in my pocket than the ridge wallet (little brick). Even with my nitpicks I could not rate it less than 5 stars, especially at 25% the cost of a Ridge Wallet. ... show more

This is an awesome wallet!!! Love it, love it, love it! I'll be concise. Pros: Price =$19.99 Quality = Excellent (if that changes after 6 months, I'll update this) Size = In this instance, Small and Slim is better Style = The stitching and color(California Desert Rogue) is freakin' cool (my teenage niece said that!! whoa!!!) Functional = Very. Slip into your front pants pocket, back pants pocket or suit coat pocket (no problem) Money Clip = Sturdy and holds those bills tight (you can adjust it too) Variety = Plenty different colors to select from Cons: Frankly, I do not have any at this time. This is a great wallet In Conclusion: A "Pro-Con" is, now I have to go to spend more money... on another Serman wallet because of everything I said under the "pros" section. Perfect size and luxury look, I don't really carry cash however the slim design makes all my cards, ID, some cash and a Tile finder fit perfectly and still feel and look thin. I love it.

This thing is great! Any of the comments that mention moldy smells, that has been corrected. They package the wallets with anti mold packets and anti moisture packets. The wallet itself is great, and it's clearly designed to not have your cards all stacked in there. I can understand why the other reviewer's seams split if he's jamming more than one in each sleeve. The ID window is easy to move the card in and out of and the money clip works as intended. In the off chance something goes wrong in the next few months I'll be back to update the review, but the stitching seems very sturdy. I'd absolutely recommend this to a friend. ... show more

This wallet is everything I could ask for out of a slim wallet. Fits everything and more than I need in the wallet. The money clip also comes out if anyone is interested in knowing that. Some people don’t need it cause all we have is plastic so its nice that it comes out. Only thing is that the wallet does not have that nice leather smell to it. I don’t know if it’s getting mixed with something else but it is a little disappointing. All in all though it was 20 bucks and its well worth it. Update 8/31/20 I just bought the new model of this wallet as I wanted something with a couple slots on the inside also. The older model I had only had a I.D. slot. That is the only reason I purchased a new one the older model I have is in great shape still after a year or so and wears in really nice. This one looks just as great. I actually purchased a different brand at first when looking for a new wallet that had some inner slots because I wasn’t aware Serman had changed the model of this wallet. When I got it in I liked it very nice but was supposed to be a minimalist wallet and was still to bulky for me. I went searching again and decided to look back at the Serman wallets and see if they had anything different from the last time I checked around a year or so ago and low and behold obviously they did and I sent the other one back and purchased this one. I know the one downfall of the walllet seems to be the smell of it and I was worried also when I got the first one that it wouldn’t last but i can say the material is strong and has held up really well and not any kind of tears or defects with the wallet. ... show more
